Easily 90% of everything I buy is in person. I'm fortunate to have the entire SoCal area as my toybox. Swap Meets, Garage Sales, Antique stores, private dealers are common and everywhere. Although Star Wars is always at the top of my list, it's just one of my too many hobbies. My real "goldmine" find for today was that complete Atari 2600 with Pac-Man for $25!

Wow some even more great buys everyone.

I love the box of AST-5s. Not everyday you see a shipping box still full.

I also really like that paper clipping and nice score on the Atari 2600. I also collect classic gaming consoles. I had an Atari, but downsized a bit and decided to pass it on to someone else.

Steve, I'm looking forward to seeing the latest Chewie piece you have unearthed. I said I was done for the year too , but some potf coins came up and I'm hoping to score one tonight.

i have had confirmation from the seller that it is on the way so tuesday at the latest. Keep an eye out for the update.

But i have had to promise the missesno more purchases until end of Feb and i have to buy a new dining table and chair set in the new year sales. A good compromise i think.

Well i got home to find a slip from the postman and drive like a maniac to get to the collection office before it shut. And what was waiting for me:

A chewbacca Star Wars Proof. This is the rarer version with square cut corners and a blank back. The other major point with this styl of proof card is the thickness of the cardstock. Overall an amazing item that i am really glad now sits in my collection.

This particular type of SW proof card with chewie on is rare. From what i have been told by the seller (very reputable UK guy on RS - MaxF) there is only one other and i know where that one is but the seller of that one wanted a lot more for it.

POTF proof next!!!!!!! THink i had better get saving in case i get my chance to buy it - and yes i know where it is!!! :shock:

Stu, thanks mate. Had to give in to a few demands fro the misses on this one but it was well worth it. But why oh why oh why does more stuff come along when a few hours before i promise not to spend any more for a month or so. Arse.

I am now desperately trying to sell a few peices (2 x chewie trems, 1 x empty bandlier shipping carton and a ROTJ 2 pack to fund another peice i have seen). Any takers?

@Jimmy - unfortunately no the 2 pack is a chewie/chirpa combo. I have one interested party over on RS looking at some pics as we speak.
