i figured that they where trying to mislead who the sender is

so i joined in,

:D me and my crazy impulses :D

sorry folks

I thought exactly the same

congrats on the Endor Chase Jimmy, and the alarm clock looks great Stu

Jesus that 8D8 looks like the mintest Star Wars figure I have ever seen! I'm sick as a dog.

My latest arrivals in the vintage line would be a Luke Bespin, no COO, just "Made In" with country missing. A boxed vintage Imperial Star Destroyer playset came too. The only part missing is the mounting bracket for the laser cannon. Any body got a picture of one of the brackets?

Really really appreciate everyone's comments, it goes without saying that it's not only a very rare version but the condition is just scary. (I can't believe how nice it is in person, I tried to take some pictures but couldn't do it justice at all)

I got so lucky, seller is a gent as well, makes a deal much more enjoyable when you like the seller/buyer!

I was really waiting to do a big update with a group shot in 2010 for my focus but as I tried to win some support on RS for 8D8 in that silly game ( ) I bumped the FOTW thread with this item and let the cat out of the bag so I should really show you guys it as well :

77A Return proof (direct from Mr Kellerman) *Huge shout out to Shawn for his help, also to Christian!

Joe,

sweet proof card mate. Do you know how many more are out there to collect - this is where the hobby starts to get really expensive.

Next you will be buying first shots and hardcopies of the white skinny droid.

Nice pick up though.

Did you hear that Joe?

Hear what Emiel? (I predict some sharp interjection of wit and possibly a funny at my expense with your next reply as it's gone completely over my head lol )

Thanks Ron + Steve, I have indeed been busy and yes it is getting expensive!

There is a lot more pre production out there than for most characters Steve, its just finding the funds :(

There are 3-4 more GRADED proofs/cromalins (think unproduced POTF..yeah..uh oh!) and of course more ungraded that I know of.

As for 3D, well in the last two weeks thanks to a picture Shawn reminded me of and another surprise post on RS from a really cool guy I now have a tally of 6 (yes 6!) First shots, so there is a big possibility of finding one at a price I can afford I hope.

2010 will be slow but hopefully rewarding and I would be happy if I could pull off one more pre production piece in a year!

Joe, i hear you on that my friend.

I sat down the other day and put together my 2010 WTB list (wish list more like!!!) and i would hazard a guess that if i did manage to locate all of the items the cost of them would be into 5 figures.

Not going to release the list yet but i have it saved ready to go out in January.

Good luck on the hunt for more.

Steve

It was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor. I assumed you would have been able to hear that all the way over in Romania. :D

LOL ! I didn't see that coming !

I heard a thud, perhaps?? lol

Thanks man!

really nice proof Joe - but didn't John Kellerman have any with a better character?

Joke

Those are in great shape Mark! Congrats!

Are you going to track down the baggies for the cantina? If you display them loose side by side with the boxes the probably best just getting loose figures! (cheaper as well :D )

cool playsets you have theire, iam abit curious on what the droid factory has set you back

great score , is this from that convention that has just passed

you can get them for around £30 to £40 if you keep your eyes peeled - US ebay is the best bet

thanks but i just recieved one from my girl , remember

think she will have overpaid tho

ah - forgot that. Remember you have to factor in US postage so that brings the price up a lot, so she may have not overpaid at all

first class playsets mate, the Star Destroyer is minty mint, I picked on up recently for £10, the item itself is in great shape and the box is too, it has a few marks but basically sound...The Jawa and hoth playsets are on my hit list for when I get some cash.
