Recent addition for the jawa collection.

There are four layers to the sticker and used to test the color (overlay). The back is blank.

I knw you guys have seen these items already but i wanted to show you my display technique. The acrylic tray is the one i bought from Paul Moss as advertised in the ebay section. I then bought some foam board and covered it in some really cool shiny silver material.

What do you think?????

P.S. I am waiting for one more item to arrive - hopefully by next weekend and then i will be taking some new pics of the collection.

Steve - I am loving that new case - I'll have to get the makers details from you. Re the background personally I would have choosen some felt just for added protection for that beautiful TT HC.

Jason - nice pick up on the Topps card, 'suppose it must becoming quite difficult to add to your Jawa hoard nowadays!

Great stuff everyone - hopefully within a week or so I'll be able to add to this thread again - been a little slow on the self-aquisition front recently

@Spoons - i decided to put the mat in the bottom to help show off the items. It goes into my glass display cases (sheves are also glass) so it needs something.

@Christian & Martijn - the case is not closed. The seller is a guy called Paul Moss who made the acrylic case. I contacted him yesterday to make some plate stand type things so i can display my proof cards (in oscars proof cases - they dont stand up very well). See the link below for his details. I then made the inlay. It is foamboard with the silver material - it is quite thick like felt so i am comfortable that it is going to give some protection to these rare items.

SithJawa - Cool Jawa sticker mate.

Steve - I think a yellow background colour like the yellow behind the Chewie figure on a 12 back card would look awesome mate but thats just my humble opinion.

I like the case, but think the background color should be different. For some reason, silver does not look right. Maybe black or even a light gray (smokey gray).

@ Steve why don't you try a yellow background (kinda the colour off the background on a chewie 12back), this will make him stand out more. Any i love the idea, but it just needs to be improved a bit more.

@Steve I like the display idea. Going from the picture, I would agree about the background, but it might look better once you have it on your display shelf surrounded by your other Wookies. I look forward to seeing a pic with the rest of the focus.

I can't find info about which weapon goes with what. I suppose the Polish kids didn't care their figures were all the wrong colours, they weren't going to care about what guns they got
