Some sweet buys there lads. Good going Cobra and Steve the Chewie is awesome.

Thank you

Grant. 8)

@ Steve Wow congrats on the HC, i am impressed, it is a great piece to see.

@ Stu very nice find mate, those must now be the centerpieces in your collection

@ Rob, Good going mate, are there variants in those Tri Boba's? (for example painted dart unpainted knee, painted dart painted knee, unpainted dart unpainted knee, ...)? Don't get me wrong here, i don't wanna spoil the fun, but i am pretty sure your mexican bootleg Yak face came from Jorge Enrique Silva Sandin (JESS-starwars on ebay) and actually the term is correct it is a bootleg and it's from mexico (where he lives) but he made it himself, it's not a vintage piece or anything, he just own steel yak face molds and produces those Yak's all time.

Steve, that Chewwie is cool, didn't even know things like that existed to be honest.
That's why IMO the forum is so cool you never know what will be unearthed and you are always seeing new stuff 8)
Thanks for the share mate and I'm sure we'll all want to see another pic when it's displayed.

Thanks guys :)

Yes Dennis, there are 3 different tri bobas there, about the yak - i had some suspicions about vintage yaks as i didnt find any, only something on a spruce tree, i did pick him up cheap tho so ill card him as a curiosity or something (after all he still is a Mexican Bootleg of sorts lol)

As usual some great additions. I know this is not a "who got the best thing each week" competition but minty star cases beats a foreign chewie with all his limbs fallen off  Tim, hurry up and open them boxes :)

Steve

That TT HC is superb. I've lusted after that piece ever since it was first 'revealed'. So impressive that you've added it to your mighty Chewie focus Steve - many congrats.
One thing that has totally shocked me is just how far your focus has come on in such a short space of time - awesome dedication. Skye better watch out! :P

As for the star cases Burnsy - sweet score and I see you're another collector renouncing acrylic

Your Christmas really has come early Tim. So many great pieces- complete LLs, the AWOL Tri soldier showed up. It's a pity the Biker Scout is having such a bad day he wants to shoot himself

He's already shot himself in the thumb James, did you see?

Lol, didn't notice the gun on the Biker Scout, it was the last one i opened & it's pretty tiring stuff!

Did notice the thumb tho...

Blimey! What happened on this thread in the last few days!

Well firstly, and my apologies to all the other contenders this week but we all know who
had the most impressive new acquisition..Burnsy those star cases are truly amazing!
Congrats on a great buy, I can only imagine how much those babies set you back!

Steve- Awesome!

Tim - I still hate you but you are doing bloody well lately

If I forgot anyone I am sorry, it was the sight of those
star cases that has stuck in my mind!

Some absolutely fantastic additions there guys.

Below is my latest from the last two weeks or so.....

A 65bk Palitoy Hoth Trooper. I really want a trilogo of this figure but couldn't resist this one for now.
A grey and white hair Ben. No idea why I bought the grey as I already have one. The white was to replace my old one as I thought he had a repro cape, but now I have more to reference against it turns out it's fine.
And finally two Trilogo dark armour Dengars. I could do with a bit of clarification on these though as the armour is definately darker but the COOs are both different - one is scrubbed totally and the other just has part of Hong Kong removed. Has anybody come across this before?

the one where you said that the coo and the year has been scrubbed off

that could have been done while cleaning with pure tolueen it's great if you ad some water you can get sundamage off really nicely but if could meld away your fig completely

Sorry, I maybe wasn't clear. The date is still on the other leg and the Hong Kong area is a moulded scar - it's just not clear on the picture due to the angle. 'Scrubbed' was probably the wrong choice of word.

The dark armour Dengar with 'on' remaining is PBP, the one with scar only is possibly PBP/TRI/European variant. There is also a third PBP Dengar with 'made in' and scar underneath!

Some great items guys, well done!

Nurnsy, those star cases are immense!
There'll be more to come when I actually remember to post your parcel! Not as nice as those three though.

Some great figures Tim, I didn't realise you had all those LL waiting for you!

I wish those star cases were for sale.
