My girlfriend has just called me to say a parcel has arrived. Bloody hat that though as i have to work until half 5. I know what it is and i just want to open the parcel and double check the addition. Watch out for a new post tonight.

Well i am home, beer in hand and have unpacked my parcel.
And here it is - a chewbacca from the 12" line. Nothing to special you say. Look at the second pic - he is actually a good half inch shorter than the standard Kenner version. IN fact this is a loose (and no accessories) BASA 12" Chewbacca.
He is in great condition with nice tight joints. He has no copyright or COO markings which is one of the main differentiators between the kenner and BASA figures. Later on in the BASA line they shipped in Kenner versions and boxed them in BASA boxes so i know that this is very early. Enjoy.

Yeah - i bought it from luis who also had a BASA vader for sale.
I hope one day to be able to pick up the accessories for it.

Felt like a change, I had been thinking about changing over on RS for a while now but I still haven't asked the admin team yet, everyone calls me Joe anyway and I would rather be known as my real name than hide behind a nickname!
