Like a little kid, "Look at me, look at me!"

Lovely figure mate, was he expensive?

Weasel you would love it if a little kid was standing in front of you saying that!

As for the price, it wasnt so bad, got it from MrUtman on RS.

Hey Shawn they came out nice!
Great cases !

Hey thanks! Did you find out anything about that 8D8 mailer? I looked at the pics and it looks like it is paired with an Admiral Ackbar box. The mailing label for Ackbar is 083-003. Where 8D8 is a later Jedi character I doubt they would have substituted him if they happened to be out of Ackbars, but you never know.

I asked the question in the guys thread to get him to respond in that thread so others could see his response in public but he pm'd me
He said the baggies were bought with the mailers by him from the U.K and he is only selling them that way because he wants to sell things as he bought them, I suggested selling the mailer boxes separately as there was no way the 8D8 was a mail away figure and he never replied.

His baggies are too expensive anyways

nicely done Skemple! they take up heaps of room though!

Unlike my Lando General on the previous page that everyone seems to have missed due to the Gustie Spell-gate incident!

Nice Lando Bollux :)

I spent a little over a year picking up all the mailaways, so I want to give them a proper display. You are right that they do take up some room, but they sure do display better than just in their boxes like this.

Good to know. I was hoping that he might have some new info on an 8D8 mailer for you. It looks like the original conclusion that it is a "created" mailer is correct.

I agree with you on the prices. I at first was thinking they were in dollars and didn't think they were that bad, but then noticed the â'¬ in front of some of the items. He has a Luke Jedi baggie that I do not have, but I recently saw the same one on ebay end quite a bit lower.

Nice item mate.

Patience does pay off :) I mentioned back in this thread about how twice I missed out on a carded molded Luke Jedi. Last friday one showed up on ebay with a buy it now of $50. I did not hesitate to click that button. The picture wasn't very good, so I wasn't positive it was a molded Luke. It arrived today and it was! It has the folded cape in baggie which is an interesting variant on the packing of the figure. Back when Ryan did his research thread there was only 5 known. This is the 3rd I have seen on ebay in the year, so there are more out there, but I think it is safe to say that this is one of the hardest carded Luke Jedi figures to find. Anyway here are a couple of pics I snapped.

Today a couple more cases that I ordered from Oscar arrived. I thought they turned out great. Now hopefully the risers I ordered will come soon. I didn't realize Oscar did those too until after I ordered from another site.

Also have my old cabinet for ships and creatures but theres not much in it yet,and my falcon won't fit in ,any ideas how to display a falcon well?

Bollux said:
cheers mate, sadly they are no longer hanging up anymore and are on shelves instead

I would be happy with just a Falcon hanging up, Imagine them all hanging up with figures inside them like the Dv Star Destroyer
It would be very cool to look at.

Thankyou.

Grant.

bollux- lovely stuff mate! i wish my falcon was as light and clean as yours, mine looks yellower than dot cottons teeth! :(

im still after a nice b-wing.

you got many playsets bollux?

i was tempted to buy a loose but complete creature cantina in good nick apart from the backing card creased to bits for £30 last weekend but couldnt do it.

cheers pal., the only playset i have is the death star (kenner) and thats up the loft as i have no room to display it!

just need an a-wing, shuttle, Vader tie, cloud car and mini rigs!

love that cloud car, that orange just shouts the 70s! :)

the shuttle is gonna set you back a bit of moolah, i wont be buying one of those for a good while and i dont think i'll ever bother with variations, blue/purple smocks, small heads, and hair colours are my limit.
