Star Wars nostalgia strikes again. This mint condition mail away poster circa 1984 arrived today. I had one just like it growing up that was pinned on my bedroom door.

Wow...start with a bang, great condition.

Seahawks that first poster is fantastic.
I've never seen that before, such a clever way of showing all three Jedi themed figures and locations (sort of) and yet merging them at the same time.

Always a sucker for a LXW MOC- nice pick up, quins - what a fantastic way to start your MOC run!
Bargain Anakin there Ruby2511

After buying a pop-up R2 locally in 1995, I've FINALLY got my hands on an original saber  I've had a repro placeholder since the mid-nineties (one of the very early painted ones). So pleased to finally replace it!

Also picked up a sealed TOPPS UK Series 2 wax pack from Andy Preston. Just need to find a Series 1 pack now...

Congratulations on getting that saber Andy, that's usually the last piece of the puzzle for a loose run... unless you need a black Endor blaster too :x

Thanks Scott. Thankfully got all the others, so loose run complete at last!

Been after a slave 1 for a while and this one popped up on Ebay, decent price, complete, just some decals missing which I don't mind, it's good honest wear and tear.

Another iconic ship ticked off my list :D

Ruby2511 love that Slave 1! Looks in good nick and such a cool ship. Was my first loose ship when I started collecting in around 1994. Cost me £7, complete apart from the carbonite. Got home to find an absolutely mint Boba stuffed in the back. Happy days!

lejackal very nice R2 mate 8) Hold onto it!

Alisdairmac that INT-4 is superb! Fantastic find 8)

Cheers Cazza, I'm chuffed with it, wish I could find a hidden gem, maybe one day :D

My Christmas present to myself and my favorite purchase of 2019. Printers proof for the 1978 Factors Princess Leia poster. Lacking any text, the proof is printed on thick glossy photo paper and is larger than the production poster. The focus of the image is sharper on the proof, with color differences, resulting in more natural colors on the face, and less blue tones on the bottom.

Proof on top, production poster on bottom. It also seems the contrast was enhanced before printing the actual poster, darkening the blacks and making her face more washed out than the proof.

Happy Holidays everyone!

My lot excelled themselves this year. The kids bought me this :D
