And Bollux too, you got any other pop up books or was it just an impulse buy?

Impulse buy mate, saw them on ebay, decent cheap price and really wanted them when i was a kid, always used to pick them up to play with in WH Smiths in town.

although not pop up, it still sits in the same genre, there was a story flip book which allowed you to change the characters, place and what they were doing. The artwork is beautiful and you can make Lando have 3PO's legs on Dagobah watching asteriods etc etc.

It's a really underated book, but brilliantly executed.

If you want to fast forward 30 years, the A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy book is amazing too, with some very cleaver graphics and pop ups in there too. A lot of fold outs of ships, plus an awesome Rancor eating people.

Dave.

Nice Death Star Droid, Ron.

Been looking for a decent loose DS Droid for a wee while, but they
all seem to have a fair bit of paint loss :(

Not to sure whats on the hitlist next. Still need 18 figures. So just what ever i see that i think is going cheap enough

I have a few new pieces in my collection now so thought I would share my favourite!

This picture isn't going to work but to hell with it border or not lol

Three clear bubbled (or 95% clear) 8D8 MOC'S!
1.) 77BK unpunched offerless
2.) 77BK unpunched Anakin offer with unpainted shin/foot (Courtesy of Fitzy!)
3.) 79BK punched Anakin offer

Can't have any of mine haha

I actually have a few back in England I might be picking them up in January so I will have a few spare, will see :)

I really need a free coin offer moc that would be cool :)

Nice 8d8's mate. He also one of the figures that i dont have in my moc collection. I remember 8d8 been an unpopular choice back in the day.

I got to say though your collection is looking good do you have a group shot of all your pieices together?

He was definitely a bargain bin figure when the toys were in shops!
So there are plenty of them around!

I want to get a few more bits and pieces before I show everything off as some of my good pieces are back in England !

Just got offered a yellow bubble MOC with a big crease down it for wait for it ........$120!

WOOHOOO I won't be breaking the bank for that one lol

How come you ended up in Romania? (Assuming you actually are out there, I noticed it's your location on RS as well so hopefully that's not too dim an assumption!)

Isnt that were Dracula lives....

Well I met and married my awesome wife, who happens to be Romanian :)

We lived in England for 2 years but were fed up of how expensive it is to live there and the weather so we moved back!

It's great here, I will have to upload some photo's for you guys to have a look.

And yes Vlad Tepes (Dracula) lived in Transylvania, which is where I live :D

Thats really cool mate. Would love to see a couple of pics of your part of Romania.

On another note, does Gustie really live in Iceland?

Cool, obviously it's cheaper out there than over here! You speak Romanian then? What the hell do you do about work?

Ohh and NO Rudyard, Gustie doesn't live in Iceland, unless "Iceland" is in Bristol!

I thought Iceland was where he shopped, he spends all his money on variations lol

We both work for an English company , so we are pretty lucky :)

And as for language, well I learn more every day but I am far from fluent, I understand 80% of whats being said though.
My wife speaks 6 different languages lol so I have to show her I can master one!

Well it's home for now , we love it here and get
to spend time with my wifes family who are great!
Maybe in the future we will come back as we do love
England but just can't afford to live there, so we are taking this time to enjoy life a
bit and if property prices fall in the uk (fingers crossed) we will be back :)

As I said next time I am in the city I will take some pictures
for you all to see as it's a really great place to be !
