I'd said that one of my aims for 2019 was to pick up some significant UK store display pieces, can't quite believe I've already got these on day 2! They're store display posters for the Sphere novelisations of Star Wars, and for Splinter of the Mind's Eye, together with a further store display sticker (the smaller one) for Star Wars. Added to the Empire poster that I got just before Christmas, this sets up a dream run for me, which I'd never thought I'd have. So pleased to kick off the year in such a great way!

Another Luke X-Wing for the focus arrived today. This one got a 75 grade because of a pin hole in the punch, other than that it's mint. Funny that whoever graded it could have pushed out the punch and got an 80/85 grade.

I agree, un punched just makes the card look "cleaner" somehow.

Awhile back I picked up one of the comic books from the Pendulum Press teaching kit. I've been keeping my eyes open for the kit itself for some time.

I am stoked to now be the owner of one to start off 2019. The box is a bit worn, but it's contents are in excellent condition. The filmstrip appears unused, the poster is free of wrinkles or tears and the comic books look brand new as well. The worksheets are all there as well as some extra copies that have some writing in them from students.

I went ahead and scanned the comic book and digitally recorded the Read Along cassette and made a video of the two synced up. Some of you might get a kick out it as much as I did.
