Thank you Cazza. I know. I was just looking for a decent condition bubble and fair card but managed to find this so grabbed it at the chance.

My first LA in about a year, and it's one I've wanted for years. I've got 2 more MOCs on their way from the US, so a bit of a mini spending spree as things I've actually wanted and for the right price have come up recently.

The card insert was out of place, but literally 20 seconds with a long sharp needle, and it slotted beautifully back into position.

That's lovely mate - is it a 41 A, B or C?

Oh crap, I'm not sure. I'm just waiting for another MOC to arrive then I'm going to take some hi-res images (back and front) of all my new MOCs. Then I'll look at back and find out. How many AT-AT Driverrs with the Palitoy logo on the front are there? I just thought it was 1 30 back, 1 41 back, and 1 45 back?

Got this a few weeks back but I haven't had a chance to show it off. Been after a pbp hybrid trilogo for a while now.

That's nice and unusual, congratulations.

Got my second esb moc in today. Been trying to clean it up with little effect but I'll keep at it.

Nice pick-up apack and I think the soot makes for a more interesting MOC. I'm sure there is some way of getting t off safely. Maybe a little more research and not just about MOC's but try soot removal from anything else. Might be the same principal.

I tried looking it up and found an article on a museum site saying to use trisodium phosphate which I have but it says it's a harsh chemical and I don't want to use it if it could damage the card. So for now I'm just going to try to carefully use some water and soap.

An idea would be to buy a coupe of beater cardbacks and (somehow) try and find some soot to put onto them for practice to see what will work best.

What about using lighter fluid on a soft cloth?, iv'e used it for 'dirty' cards before and cleans them up real nice and also works wonders on old sticker residue. Your card is heavily dirtied but there's a chance it could work, the lighter fluid evaporates too so it hopefully won't do any permanent damage.

I tried lighter fluid but didn't get anything off when I tried it but I might try again.

Here's today's Farthest From haul, a trilogo Death Star Droid on a 70b card for my run, and a ROTJ Han Solo which is a MOC I've been hunting for ages :)
