Some amazing pick ups recently. I got these 2 items in Japan recently. Luke is opened 12bk Takara. Bubble is still partially attached, has the footer. The other is a vintage tsukuda metal model kit, still sealed inside. Couldn't not get the Luke! Cheers

Great stuff mate.
Where did you score the Takara from?
Was it Star Case or Nakano Broadway by any chance?

Cheers tobedesu. Not a bad guess! It was the Mandarake section in Nakano Broadway, there were a few bits there, some ok stuff. Ive picked up some good vintage items over the years going to Japan, cheers.

Here's my first contribution here in a while. I just got these Pirelli child's slippers today, but not for the first time. I had a pair circa 1980 that I remember wearing until my feet were literally bursting out of them.

some real peaches of purchases last month - I'd not looked in for a while

Harbert diorama, Pal Luke Bespin and the three pack are very special and I love the way the loose ships look on Iain's stands 8)

Here's my LA - been after this for a long time. Small wing DV TIE on TIE card. The SW TIE card used to to test the packaging before the toy was then tested on a DV TIE card before ultimately being redesigned.

Mate that is a stunning die-cast piece :o it looks so much purer than the standard white Tie on that card what with the smaller bubble etc.

This is an unverified 70C Leia on the Palitoy Matrix. Edd spotted it. Have added to my matrix now.

http://www.freewebs.com/mrpalitoy/

:-)

Jason

I'm not entirely sure you can add an undocumented variation to your matrix without a better picture. That does indeed look like a 70C but the punch is telling me it's a 70B with a repaired/resealed bubble area.

Scarefaceone, is the figure factory sealed? Need more pictures if so.

Good spot. The whole bubble area is transplanted. You can see the join at the top of the bubble. Am going to remove this entry from the matrix.

Cheers Jason

Trip to local Flea market this morning.....nothing really there but was happy to pick this up after flicking through about 10 comics, they were the only thing on one of the stalls....Fully attached in a Sept 1979 issue of the 'Whoopee' comic.....Cost only €1... :D

I'm really excited to have received this in the post today. I never knew this particular item existed until a few days ago, it's not in the Tomarts guide or in Gus and Duncan's guide. I remember having the Deeko plates when I was probably 8 or 9, and I've managed over the years to pick up sealed packs of cups, plates, tablecloths and napkins, what I thought was the whole range. This is new to me, it's a Party Table Pack containing 8 each of the small plates, cups and napkins, and a tablecloth, as well as two larger plates that I'd never seen before. Interestingly, the packaging doesn't mention Deeko at all, which makes me wonder if this was a way of packaging up overstock, perhaps for secondary sale by a different company? The graphics on the header card are great, very 70s, and I love the big bold use of the Star Wars logo. All in all a fantastic rare piece and one I'm extremely pleased to have found.

That is amazing Andy.
I too have never seen that and I have owned the cups and plate since buying from a local market in the late 70s.
I vaguely remember having some napkins too but cannot be 100% of this but if I did then it's possible I, or at least my Mum purchased the set in this kind of package but again, I have no recollection of this.
This is the only example I have seen or remember seeing.
If you ever part with it in future Andy would you look me up please?

Paul
