Just had a great baggie haul turn up, most of these were trades with people who needed specific baggie types I had (I'm not really bothered about which bag they came in) but there are a few new ones in there too. Especially pleased with the Greedo and Hammerhead as they are getting pretty tough to find.

Blimey Edd, the amount you've amassed since FF is impressive!

I must admit I'm a bit of a binge collector, don't buy anything for months/years and then go a bit mad for a while  still with the pound about to drop below both the euro and dollar for the first time in living memory I'm much happier having star wars toys than cash right now :)

Great baggies Edd :)

Now then, I had those cards in my watch list and was going to stick in a last minute bid but realised my random buying streak was getting out of hand! I don't know anything about them but liked the design and the fact the box was unpunched. Nice pick up :)

Thanks. If I open them will I get a blasting? I believe they have nice exclusive artwork on them.

I know it's tempting as it's only 99p but don't do it!

That would be bad :) They turn up time to time open and sell for next to nowt so keep hold of these and kept eyes peeled. You'll get an open set sooner or later.

Had this Survival Kit Mailer in, looking for Bossk one now.

I'd also like to ask if anyone knows of a company that could do me some cases to display these in. Like the UKG ones but I'm not bothered about them being graded.

Oh and the diamanté knuckleduster ring holding the instructions down is my 9 year old daughters (proper gangster).

Lush mailer there Jim. I have the Bossk one and am also looking for a display case. My current plan is to keep pestering Christian and the GW Acrylic boys until they cave in.

You're not the only one doing the pestering

Great mailer, Jimbo. I have the baggie but not the mailer. Palitoy did one too, right?

Not much vintage from me this time. I've avoided LL overstock but when Alex put these up on one of the FB groups I couldn't say no. Love the LL short mouth Biker Scout and the unpainted Luke Bespin head is just too cool. Maybe I'll see how many heads I can collect!

And a very rare figure only produced by LL. I believe I have the only one known to exist. Comes with COA and a price tag of one billion smackers. Pretty reasonable by today's standards, right?

UKG can do a slide back version.

More non-MOC random vintage buys! All from the US and so costing a damned sight more than they used too and yet I think all were very reasonable.

First up continuing the cross over between my two main passions: SW and comics. This is a four pack of the US ROTJ comic published by Marvel in late 1983 and early '84. Basically, the comic would have been overprinted and back in the 80s it was still a case of sale-or-return for newsstand copies (explanation in difference to follow!). Marvel would have received a load of issues back unsold and bagged them up and priced them at a whopping 11c less than cover price. Why they bothered I don't know. Normally you get $5 worth of comics for $2, but obviously Marvel thought this were worth a fortune as they said "Star Wars" on them. Nothing changes much! As I say, these are "newsstand" copies. You can tell because they have a barcode in a white box on the cover and also because the white box where the price appears also has the newsstand distributor's logo in it. The "Direct" market version has a picture in the white box instead of a barcode and the in the price box it has the company logo of the distributor who distributed comics to comic shops and specialist book shop. Either way, these four books in this bag cost me less than £15 which is a flipping bargain. Bloody hard to photograph so apologies for crap photo:

Next is a (just) sealed box of 144 ROTJ pin badges by Adam Jospeh Industries Inc. I found a handful of these badges for sale but soon realised that it was going to cost a daft amount to pick up individual badges for the full set. I found a fairly priced box and was pleased to add it to my non-toy collection. I then found an even more fairly priced box with issues. It's issues developed in transit so I now have an open box that I've removed a set from. It also means I'll be selling full sets of 12 badges (see FS thread to follow). Love the design. Great set of badges that cost a dollar each back in '83. Pretty much the only vintage SW item you would have lost money on had you bought some as an investment in the 80s!

A full set of the 12 badges. Each badge is quite large at 5.5cm across:

My latest addition is definitely an oddball item, but love the knock-off Star Wars artwork. A great example of how companies in the late 70's were riding on the coattails of Star Wars to make a buck.

Excellent pick ups as usual guys! Managed to find this for a decent price. Have been surprised how tricky it is to get hold of a decent boxed one.
