2 pick ups from FF. Been after both for years but for some reason have never stumbled across any for sale. The Palitoy Rancor Keeper Mailer I have always wanted. I can remember seeing it being advertised in a bus stop when I was a child. The ESB-C Tie Fighter baggie has alluded me for years. I have no idea why. I have picked up all the other TFP baggies with ease, but this one always slips through the extremely tight net. So very happy with the Bank Holiday Mission.

Awesome! I remember getting mine in a mailer back in 84 but this is the first one I've seen since! Never see them for sale.

Wow indeed  very nice Andy!

As are the other pieces Rob, Carl and Chris but I'm blown away by your photo Chris. What is that background? Very professional

You should send it off to the AFA buddy - they'll grade it as a variant  very cool though!

Compared to the awesome stuff appearing here (Grant, how did you sneak that mailer out of FF! Would have traded a relative for that!) these two are nothing, but they have their charm.

The first came from the little collectibles shop in Bakewell that Mark recently posted up here. Went in and had a nice chat with the chap. He must have lost the will with Darth as the price had come down from £25 to £15, so it would have been rude to say no. He is one blast of central heating away from being armless: they swing freely! Anyone ever replaced the elastic in these?

The second was from the same road trip but he came from one of those antique centre (loads of cabinets owed by different people). As you can see from the first pic of him he was filthy. Obvious stains to his tunic but his trousers and boots were also mucky as hell. On top of that he was sporting a snazzy Action Man roll neck sweater under his tunic. Very 70s. £9.50 secured him and seeing as he had three articles of clothing more than my £1 naked Luke I though he made for a far better project. Just need the belt, grappling hook and sabre. So about the price of a loose complete one then  Anyway, my mum did my laundry for the first time in 20 years and all items came up brilliantly. You can tell my mum was involved as by the time he returned Luke had picked up a fetching ribbon to keep his tunic closed 8)

Who wants to sell me some 12" spares??

Amazing stuff fellas, awesome condition Stormie although am wondering what a creamy hand means? :?
Love how well that 12" Luke has turned out too, gonna have to ask your Mum if she's used Daz or Persil?

Anyway here's my latest purchase I received tonight.
Not sure if non SW stuff is allowed as am a newbie but have been after a decent one for years.

He had a few bits and pieces, mate. A few weapons to go with most of the figures he had but nothing that tempted other than Vader. He said that since the stuff went in the window he's had a few people say they'll bring stuff into him but nothing materialised yet. Definitely a place to watch, though! And thanks for the offer of help with Luke, much appreciated! And if you see a sabre for Vader, too, then please do give me a shout :)

Some stunning pieces 8)

Spoons that die-cast speeder is a stunner

Andy ur Trooper is ace mate, mint as 8) Out of interest is it an A card or B Card :?:

My collecting habits have changed somewhat this year with not much to post on the LA thread but I was really pleased to pick up this Palitoy letter today. Thanks for the head's up Frank.

It is a response to the Bounty Hunter offer as they had ran out of Imperial Troop Transporters and Hoth Wampa and then offer their money back or an alternative offer.

A quick question, what was the Imperial Troop Transporter and Wampa offered from?

Nice Palitoy letter Laurence! As for your question, those two (and the others mentioned in the letter) were available through the unbeatable offers form/leaflet.

Thanks Joe, I appreciate that. I've seen the leaflet before but it didn't even register with me. All I could think of was the Capture Log.
I suppose I had better track one of these down now.
