Finally bought a Vintage Rancor monster from Ebay, that will look good with my Jabba's palace ROTJ vintage diorama.
It seems the Rancor has gone missing in the post.

I've heard of this debut card, wonder if one will ever show up for sale...?

If ur talking about the fabled Palitoy 41 back, after talking with a few collectors and considering what has been seen on paper I am going to say I don't believe it exists....until I am proven wrong :!:

Either way I am happy because if it does get revealed to us I will b happy to see something I have never seen b4 and will b presented with a goal to get one and if not it makes my collection more complete because my MOC 45a example will indeed b the debut example :D

Happy with this fella...

I was sure this would be at home waiting for me but what better way to brighten up a weekend half spent at work than some factory overstock courtesy of the forums very own Punk_Pat aka Ed.
This deal was made all the sweeter by the extras thrown in so thanks a million mate

Good job, Martin. Always looks better out of those cases. Very nice addition to the focus and interesting to see the POTF offer on an ESB card.

Nice lot there, Carl. Ed has some cracking figures at good prices for minters.

Thanks Jon.

Cheers Si, that's what attracted me to him; already had a 47 back but thought this made for an interesting variation.

Picked up a store counter box to hold my small collection of pencils (childhood one in foreground), a definite improvement on the tumbler they were in... Now feeling the urge to fill it! :D

So lads I finally got me X-Wing and it's a beauty! It came boxed and with instructions but minus inserts and all for s nice £30 so I was happy. I've been patiently waiting for one of these to come up around £40 so at £30 this was a very nice surprise! That's £10 towards a moc from farthest :-)
Anyways it now in the display with its pilot
Enjoy ⚒

Two boot sale pick ups this weekend, trust me they look better in the photo, think the y-wing is going to be a long term project, never owed one back in the day so its a first for me. Chap had a big bag of bits but these were the two best bits, if you can believe it :o managed to haggle £7 for both so not too bad now a days. Feel a Toypolloi coming on for the y-wing :D

Quite pleased with how this turned out. This an uber rare palitoy 30b Leia cardback with partially attached bubble that was badly squashed to one side, cracked in several places and missing the top off the bubble.

The first picture is off the ebay sale.

I've straightened it out and cut a bubble to fit over the top of the existing bubble, keeping it in place and intact. I've added and original vintage blue footer and a minty leia and blaster to make the reseal in the second picture.

The third picture is it along side my existing resealed 30b ben.

And the last picture is it in my cabinet of reseals. All large palitoy logos now on the bottom row. Hurrah!
