Well done on the Palitoy TFP. I did the same for my 2-1B that only got a 70 due to a ding in the bubble. No probs, I can put up with a ding which meant I paid hundreds less.

My tri R2 bubble got an 80, and look at the state of it :o

I'm not sure if it's a metallic blaster, I tried looking at the different versions but can't work it out. I think it is.

Thats a normal bespin blaster.

Oh balls, I spent hours twizzling in the light to try to convince myself it was metallic!

Really chuffed with it, genuine attic find - and yes I have suggested we have a proper look through everything as soon as possible in case it was the start of a vintage seam that runs the length of her loft :D

Some truly wonderful pieces here again over the last couple weeks.
Ben, that was a great post of yours a few weeks back with your Birthday Shuttle, LL Jawa (new to his mates) and the miscards, really nice.
Dublin Jeff, bargain Tie Fighter dude, great spot by the little un.
Oli, bloody hell mate, how do you do it? Amazing pieces yet again mate, bravo.
Spoons, really great to see a LL CLM 3, especially after Marco mentioned one in the NA section of the latest, greatest Podcast. Blimey, and that Harbert Landspeeder is bloody awesome.
Scruffy, thats a bloody lovely IG88 battered or not. Great score with the TFP too.
AndyClarke, cracking 45As, you know i love that Luke X-Wing, very nice.
Nice prints Skywalker, the frame looks great.
Great MOCs RobPMarsh, i need both of them. Awesome stuff.
Colin thats a great find.

I won a cracking 21Bk LXW on eBay the other day and then realised as soon as i opened that parcel that it was a fake, thats on it's way back to the seller, the bastard.

However, i was delighted to get this earlier this month. A 35 mm pre production transparency of a painted hardcopy from the collection of Thomas Derby who got it direct from Kim Simmons. I know it won't be everyones cup of tea but i love it. I'm so happy he's in my collection :D

WOW love that mate how did you manage to get it was it on eBay..?? I missed out when Kim sold all his original slides some years ago and they hardly ever come up for sale now..

Love the jigsaw find - just awesome. I'm pretty sure I had that falcon cockpit shot jigsaw when I was a kid and it came with a poster of the same shot?

Brilliant stuff

Well done with the transparencies.

A few years back I collected all my transparencies, negatives, and APS rolls and sent them to be professionally scanned to digital at Mr Scan. I had 1000s, but the more you send the cheaper each is. Think it ended up 12p each. They send you a CD with high res scans. Amazing seeing all the quality brought out that is lost in a print. Here is a sample scan of a photo of me in 1987. Don't know who the kid was

Well worth you considering.

Always nice to add to your focus Jez, but how come you stung by a fake? Did it look that good in the photos?!

Not posted anything up here for a while but I was delighted to get this newly listed buy it now directly from the original owner in South Africa of all places. Shout out to my homies Stef and Jimbo for the instant heads up on this listing :)

An early, and quite rare, invite to one of the first showings in the Uk. Measure 160mm x 110mm on card. What really makes it is the early RMQ logo design - 'THE STAR WARS'.

That's a great pick up for your focus Jez, slides aren't for everyone I agree with you but personally I think they compliment and fit perfectly within a character focus - awesome!

Mate congrats that looks fantastic.

I got caught, big time. I noticed it on eBay with 10 minutes to go, lots of distraction photographs of the dented bubble and weapon tape undone.
Stated fully vintage etc.
I was too distracted looking up his feedback as he was a bit of a seller that would cancel a sale if he didn't get what he wanted for his items.
I hadn't even taken it out of the star case it was shipped in when it dawned on me i'd been done. The feel was awful, the card was actually separating, the bubble seal was ok but the 2 big tell tales were the bubble position and the print quality. It is truly horrific.
The photos in the listing were poor. I actually showed the winning pictures to Iain, Marc and the Podcast lads just after i won it as i was so chuffed. No one noticed the bubble position, but looking at it now it was so obvious! So annoyed. Thats 2 x LXWs from eBay (the first had a cracked undeclared bubble), both got sent back to the seller.

Thanks for the comments on the slide. It goes great next to the proof and prototype coin.

That's amazing - would look great framed well

Almost 2 months ago, I spotted both these bargain cards on US and Canadian eBay. Only problem was the Sellers were looking for over $100 postage on the cards between them to Ireland

Up stepped Mr. Sanderson to give a helping hand..post ended up at only £24 total for both...Well worth the wait!

Kenner 65 back, Emperor offer card with Coin offer sticker. I've only ever come across this on one other Rebel Commando cardback which is in a dedicated focus...resealed, but a total bargain at £16...

Next, a Canadian Kenner 65 back Niem Numb offer card....Resealed, but quite a hard card to pick up. Made in China cardback with the original China COO figure....really thought I'd missed out on this one, but Iain was brilliant sorting out a deal! Another bargain at £34.... :D
