My Vectis wins arrived today. My first ever. I bid on several items with either their previous lowest sale price, or on the really expensive ones, just a limit. I was both horrified and excited that I'd won 4. I couldn't believe I'd won the Bespin Luke as that had previously gone for triple what I paid. I bid half hoping I wouldn't win any. I just wanted to make sure I it wasn't a case of "OMFG, why didn't I at least bid as that went for a tiny amount".

Well opening the box this afternoon I was panicking to see what condition they were really in compared to the online photos. Well my god, they were mintier than mint. Even though I'd hammered my credit card, and know I'm now out of the collecting for the near future because of that, my heart was racing at how stunning they look. They are breathtaking in the flesh.

Well that's a lot of Palitoy goodness 8) Great score!!

I didn't even want to mention the one you need after the last one that sold but then again I'm not sure you thought you'd end up with a Yoda by the end of the year so anything's possible. I remember how quickly you managed to get your 20 back run up together (pretty sure it was 20 and not 12), and this 30 back run has come along almost as quickly, double impressive! At least if you ever decide you've enjoyed them enough the Jedi run will be even simpler to achieve

Not everybody's cup of tea but I've managed to pick up a few 'grail' items for my paperwork side-focus this month...

1. X-Wing Figure (Glasslite) - I've finally popped by Glasslite paperwork cherry !!
2. Special Action Backdrop (Kenner) - VHTF as they were only included with the special offer DV Tie-Fighters

3. Star Destroyer Insert (Kenner) - I've now managed to pick up a B&W version of this leaflet, an oddball item for sure. It's not a direct photocopy as the part numbers uses a different font and is positioned differently. Legit, I am not yet but the paper is aged and was mixed it with a batch of legit items so maybe?!?!

4. Earlybird Mailer Leaflet (Kenner) - Some minor damaged but I'm f**ked if I'm paying $300+ for one!!

5. ROTJ Store Poster (Palitoy) - A super minty upgrade from eBAY.

Had these arrive today from Chris Roshop in the U.S. All in decent condition, just the tie that need a little work on the mechanism and electronics. They all need a good clean as well.

I finally got my finger out and put up some new shelving as well. (Just need to do the other wall now). I'm not the 'most competent when it comes to DIY.

I picked up the Barada/Weequay mis-card (and misaligned printing of the cardback) to pair up with my Warok/Weequay mis-card. an interesting little side-focus coming together now as I have Weequay on a 77 back and a Tri-logo already...
