Yak army! :D

Never understood that myself. It's a **** figure, has few variations and is bloody expensive to buy.

However, that said, each to there own and collect what makes you happy.

We'll never understand what makes something rare. Why does Yak Face usually command £300-500 loose, yet I see a ton of them for sale. Same with things like Luke Farmboy 12 back. Must have been 30+ for sale on eBay this year, but reckon I've seen 2 Trilogo Lobots.

Yep, they're way too expensive now. I bought all of mine around 5 years ago and they were all for about 40 pounds a pop. So now they're an investment. I guess there's an explanation for you.

Finding those 45a's inspiring........may have triggered something......

Here is a UK store T-shirt for I'm guessing the Betamax/VHS release of ESB.

Thinking it may be used by shop workers to advertise the event.

Grant, that is one sweet t-shirt!

I think it actually ties in with the cinematic release of ESB in 1980 and possibly the showing of both films together. A press pack was sold on ebay some months ago that featured this exact design and it was in conjuction with Odeon Cinemas. It featured all sorts of imagery I've not seen anywhere else, including a display atop a Vauxhall Viva featuring Threepio!!! It also featured a pic of this very shirt.

I can't find the link to it now but it sold for £87, I've not seen one before or since. Needless to say I was outbid, hope someone here got it though.

It's as rare as hens teeth mate, not seen one before, was gutted I missed it but I had to save funds for another purchase - wish I'd got this now.

Keep your eyes peeled though mate, another one might surface soon...

Very very nice R5s. What's the deal with these proof cards? Is it simply that they are cards that never had a figure on? Just stock collected when factories stopped making figures?

Yep....need just a Yak and Blue Snag to complete my loose fig run.....resigned to paying silly money for them now.

Love those new additions Richard - that Tri Logo looks nice and clean. As I mentioned in your limelight, I'm looking forward to seeing your R5 focus grow! :-)

Cheers Oli - I'm getting there slowly but surely. Just updated my photos with better shots as I saw some yellow thing in the sky which made the world light up a bit.
