Yesterday I went to the Echobase 2 event in Leeds & came home with this lot!

The mini rigs & beaters were given to me for my kids by Richard McClean. A true gent. The Luke's, Leia & coins came from Rich Temple, the deal was done a while ago & we waited to hand over in person.

Let's get on to the big ones for me.

You won't be seeing me post here for a while
I sold some retro gaming stuff on eBay to fund my recent spending & now my funds have now run dry!

The Echobase event was amazing. A true community spirit with silly deals being made to look after one another & free stuff flying about left right & centre. More people need to make the effort to attend events like this, there's not a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Fact!

Freaking Awesome Haul from Echobase Jimi. Looks like it was a blast. 8)

That AT-AT looks like a gem there Colin. Conrats

Sme other superb purchases too guys. Fantastic Proofs and congrats on finally landing a Blue Snag Grant :)

Grant, that Atari glass plate is AMAZING!

Love that artwork, and like you say, frame it with a back light and you've got a really classy piece of art.

I might have to hunt one down myself now. Where did you land this one?

Good score mate!

I'll second that. Remember that game in arcades - used to be the bomb :)

I should do this more often but have managed to pick up a few nice pieces since I have been out here (thanks to Neil for sending a couple over as well)

First up, a few of you might recognize this - the lady selling it came on here and caused a bit of a stir but as she was from Ipswich then I managed to bond with her - amazingly they were going to open it and it sat in her purse for a couple of days - still once cased up he doesn't look half bad

Next up I managed to pick up the Rebel Soldier Popy on FB and then piece together the Luke Bespin - will get these into the GW Popy Cases once my next lot of stock is in

Got a bit lucky with the next one - he arrived in a bulk lot and I thought there was something a bit different about him - turns out he is the painted head version - and is a beauty at that

Last up (for the moment) is this RC Sandcrawler - one of the only pieces I had never owned and although the box is pretty batter (and the crawler is missing the battery cover) it still looks great - and I believe it works as well

Some great pick ups there and it's interesting you should mention the painted head Boba as I have the same one in my palitoy 30 back reseal. I always thought it had just faded but sounds to be not the case. So do these painted ones come up much?

It's not one I had heard a lot about (probably sold a few in the past without knowing) - there is some info over on TIG and Wolff has it in his guide - http://swspaceclub.com/wbobafett/kenner-variants/mold-color-variants/

Not vintage this time, but a nice novelty item to add to the Stormtrooper shelf in my detolf. Found in a local shop and couldn't resist it. Fully made of glass.

Thanks for the link and it's a strange one for sure. As my Fett can't be removed from the reseal it's hard to know for sure if it's Taiwan but maybe the belt colour is a give away?

I own one of those Fetts with the painted head,
Very hard to find and a little known variant.

Agreed they're a not that well known but keep looking on ebay and you'll be able to pick them up for as little as £5 with a bit of luck. If advertised correctly I've seen them hit triple figures.

Triple figures  , well I guess it's one for the variant collectors out there. :D
