That's a nice looking falcon. I can't understand the appeal of AFA or MISB vehicles/playsets myself. At least with a MOC you can see what's in the packaging!

That's a great looking Falcon :D - I know what Jason is saying and I kind of agree with him. But the only stuff I would get AFA graded is boxed items, if they don't get sealed in an AFA box the tape will dry and fall off before too long, and there's no prrof that they haven't bee opened.

the falcon is now frozen in time its 24 years old now its still mint best things for these kind of items is to put it in a case

Sorry but im with Mr_Palitoy on this one, nice to know that the contents inside haven't been opened and are genuine but still a very nice sealed exhibit.

do they actually vacuum out the air from thier archive cases?? surely sellotape will deteriorate the same in or out of one otherwise

very nice ........ even if it is filled with bricks there are still daft cu*ts out there that would buy it as its AFA :D

cant you open it and fill it with bricks !!  8)

Because it was sealed when it was graded, means its still sealed when the selotape dries out. AFA boxes are sealed so there is no chance of anyone having removed the contents of the box. In a few years it will be the only way you can guarantee a sealed boxed item - if thats your thing :)

There aren't many that nice around, it looks a beauty and if you got it for less than a grand I reckon you did well 8)

I guess theres plenty of nice opened falcons around and even some sealed ones in poorer condition however, that one really is museum quality and deserved the AFA treatment to keep it as it is.
