For obvious reasons I've been wary of posting limelights in recent years, but it would be a shame to never share my collection so here's a run I've been working on for the last few months. I'm collecting some of my favourite tri-logos, and trying to improve on the quality of my original set. Hope you enjoy

Every now and then, I'm reminded of the sheer joy of loose collecting! Having decided to put together a little minty loose run of 12 Back figures, I asked a few local collectors I had dealt with before had they any spare. Picked this fella up locally, arrived this morning. Absolutely beautiful, Mint condition, complete, 3 Line, Hong Kong Stormtrooper. The simple, iconic design just epitomises everything about Vintage Star Wars figures for me.
Genuinely, its the cleanest figure I've ever seen in hand.

Completely agree, the stormtrooper is my greatest figure of all time (especially this example which is superb) and should
have won the rigged competition hosted on here the other day

That's a great collection Ed and I especially like how you're holding out until you see the right ones for you.

There's so many out there who grab what they can when they see it (me included), and then end up re-buying everything to upgrade. I know it's easy to think you'll never see another example when something turns up but you're a good example of what can be achieved with a little patience. It also means that you give yourself a bit more time to save so that you have the funds ready when the right thing turns up.

Arrived home to find these two lads waiting for me. Nothing special but a hint as to the next little reference guide I plan on putting together :wink:

The best part however, was when the little one got a hold of them, she reckoned that they should give each other a hug as they were both "Hands Solo" as she called them.... :lol: :lol:

You're gonna be paying about £5 if you can find it....they are pretty rare variations apparently. I already have the Luke Farmboy and Han Solo ones if you go back a few pages in this thread.

Things have been particularly slow recently with Japanese focus items. Probably pretty much the same for a lot of people, not much coming up for sale and anything that does requires deep pockets

So I was pretty happy to add this to the collection recently. Although I am not a stickler for condition I am happy report that this is pretty much mint

She's a beauty, man! Tough one to find in this condition these days! Congrats!

Hi Guys,

I haven't posted in here for a little while. I didn't think I had really got anything recently as I am part way through a payment plan and trying to resist buying anything. The three ESB figures were part of a swap deal I had with Banton (Adam), the miscard came from Wrighty (Simon) at Farthest From, the A wing pilot was a christmas purchase from the states (no need to mention names) and the Trilogo Boushh came from Paul (Stormtrooper37). I had put a bid on Craigs one in the Vectis auction which got smashed so I was more than happy to be first in on this one to treat myself to an early birthday present.

I like the way on a ROTJ card this figure is known as Princess Leia Organa (Boushh Disguise), whereas the trilogo is simply known as Boushh.

I got the vintage Ewok for my daughters room. I think its a Nippet. The die cast are the start of a die cast loose and eventually carded run.

Friday night.... what to do?..... I know, let's go round & see the 'man I met on t'internet' that I got the Rebo Band, Palitoy Landspeeder, Yoda & POTF coins from last week. Came back with this little lot

I can remember having all 3 of these in Jedi boxes as a kid. Opening my Snowspeeder & playing with it in front of my mum & dads open fire is my fondest Christmas memory.
