not seen that leaflet before - a very nice pickup 8)

Just got back from a sunny drive to Vectis to collect my small wing DV TIE (at the front of the pic), the card is non-production as well and the last time the VC Jawa can be seen on a Die Cast cardback. I've added a comparison pic with the production back - I'm a very happy man :D

Stunning carded Diecast there! Wow!!!

Well I have a few bits to bring to show and tell:

First up is an AT-AT box (with original inserts) in pretty amazing condition (IMO), one tape rip on one end, but its square and true in shape and has all the flaps etc.

Next two bits were all inspired by recent post on this thread and I thought I'd do a loft dive as I was certain that I had something similar knocking around a box up there.
I'd be keen to know what playset/vehicle etc they are likely to belong (Jedi one is plain on reverse, ESB is an AT-AT poster... oddly same artwork as the AT-AT box above now I look):

Finally, I found the below inside an old SW book (also in the loft) that I dragged down to read; Sansweets Action Figure Archive. I have no idea where I got it or what it is.... think I read a long time ago it was a theatre programme, but again, any info would be helpful:

Both sealed...45a Power Droid and a 30 back Ben

I got one of those from my Secret Santa - it was the programme for the first viewing of SW. A great item.

Very nice Gary - you've been looking for that PD for ages haven't you ?

Cheers

Yes, after missing out on one in 2011!!

Not quite as nice as that one but still very happy to get it at last 8)

Spoons: bloody excellent mate, really top drawer item that Vader Tie.

Savory: It's a really nice item that brochure, not sure how many print editions there were of it but yours has a textured cover so it might be 2nd or 3rd printing - I'll get back to you on that after I double check. Not a rare item, but I think it's a key piece of Star Wars history and every collection should have one!

Gary: ANYTHING Palitoy gets a massive thumbs up from me mate - LOVE the Kenobi especially :)

New star wars comic releases....each issue has about 6 different covers including these ones.

Issue 1 has around 115 different covers.

Expect issues 1-12 to have the first 12 characters as variant covers.

I was viewing the pics on my mobile and I thought they were really cool looking action figures

I'm regretting not grabbing issue 1 ( and 2) now, might be visiting the local comic shop tomorrow to see what might still be available!

Should have posted this up a while back!

Trilogo "QC" sticker cardback.

qctricard.JPG

These black and white QC stickers have shown up on Palitoy ROTJ cards and Trilogos over the years and while there's no official word on them yet (and I've definitely been cautious about getting over excited about them in the past) I've done a bit more digging recently and it does look like they could well be legit quality control examples.

Unlike most of the QC stuff that usually comes from ex-employees, these stickers have all been found on used cardbacks or on MOC with price stickers so they were never archived or anything. Probably just a spot check and put straight back into a shipping case.

I really do hope that at some point in the future some more evidence surfaces to back that up. I've got some more people to speak to about them so fingers crossed.

I have to say a huge thanks to Lee (Palitoy78) for this as he sent it to me for FREE for my focus a little while ago! Very generous of you mate - Thank you!

Very nice addition to the focus Joe and good going Lee, nice to see evidence that there is still some free love left in the community (do you have a sister?) 8)

Wowzers! Lots of highest of high quality pieces on here.

Managed to pick this up after much searching. It's only the second 'Free Coin Offer' TIE Pilot I know of. Waiting to hear what back from a collector about the back of his card.

This one is a 65 Back.

Joe,

No worries mate. Im so glad its in your collection with all that other great stuff.

Great Palitoy cards Gary, and those comics are great. It seems as though the vintage toys are something that Disney are going to use to their advantage,.

Grant- that's a gorgeous coin offer TIE, I love those stupid stickers!

Lee- Really can't thank you enough, I agree with Marc that it's nice to know there are still people out there that are just happy to help get things where they are appreciated. This forum has some quality members that's for sure. I owe you one mate!

Super Tie Pilot there Grant :D

Really happy with this fella. Decided to put together a little minty 12 back loose collection. First one arrived this morning.
Hong Kong COO Vader...really nice paint, all original...8)

Personally I think that was a bit punchy price-wise. If I was selling it, I'd have it one here for about £70 plus P&P.
The box looks badly worn and it's missing some parts, these you should be able to get ok though. At least it had the training ball.
I sold my complete, almost mint Palitoy ESB falcon a few weeks ago for £100 on here.

However, if you're happy with it mate, that is the main thing.
