That Ben is a beauty Leon 8) and a bumper haul Slider, very impressive

a trip to Doncaster Toy Fair today proved worthwhile

a SW gift set with sealed pen toppers - great artwork too

and following on from my recent Friar Tuck buy, a Robin Hood Battle Wagon. Exactly the same mould as the Ewok Battle Wagon and even has an Ewok catapult on the top where the Ewok 'skull' usually goes

Some great purchases guys

Loving that stationary set Spoons, would look good in my collection

There was a ROTJ pencil case too but I passed on that - a white cloth one

I've a ROTJ pencil set and ROTJ eraser set too if you're interested. I'll have a think about the gift set ;)

I used to have some of those pencil toppers, that brings some memories back. May have to look at getting some of those again. :)

No differences other than the cape has a zippy side to it like a VC Jawa.
The only other Leia o own is in a baggie in my early bird set so I'm not sur if others came with this same style cape.

Cooll, are there many differences compared to the released version?

Yes, a EP is basicley a production figur but believed to be the first figures from the moulds. They would then be marked with a number or a letter and sent to kenner for quality testing. In most cases EP's are just regular production figures but some have different accessories with them like the textured cape on this Leia and I've seen a Luke farm boy with a prototype sabre.
I'm sure there are exceptions to this but in general they have date stamps and coo's

Ace pic ups guys, the bounty hunter table mat rocks, troop transport is cool. And hey we all love a bit of stationary.

The Han hoth collection looks ace too.

Good skills.

i have a figure somewhere with a number on its foot, i thought some kid graffitied it. il have to dig it out and have a proper look

Not technically a latest acquisition but I didn't share when I bought it.

I must say Steve at UKG did an outstanding job, very fast turn around. Plus it got a 90!

Even though it's still in it's poly bag it looks awesome.

Hope you enjoy.

Bram

Awesome Tusken Bram,
I've not got anything UK graded but would seriously think about using them with all the positive info I've read about them.

After deciding to start collecting some of the vintage stationery from Helix and Letraset I got off to a flying start. All ebay.
The R2 writing set got me started as it was something I had and remember buying when I was little from the local newsagents. Would like to upgrade to a better example at some point but I'm happy to have this. The Pencil case was only £12 and although it's missing the outer sleeve it's unused. The ruler was £10, again, unused but my favourite so far is the Helix School Set. Ebay buy it now for £40, almost complete, missing one ruler, the pencil sharpener and rubber, and the black felt tip pen. Love the artwork and it came with the 2 small erasers with Han and Tarkin on. Now looking for the pencil case with cardboard sleeve, maths set and coloured pencils...

Also got these! Absolute bargain, £30 for the lot. The 1st series card box is the British version and is pretty much mint with the top unfolded and uncut. Both sets of cards are complete and in stunning condition. I believe these are also British cards as the back is white and I think US sets were darker - someone who knows more about the Topps cards could clarify that though!

Ace stationary.

Not posted much new stuff so here's two bits. A woolworths 8 pack with a mixture of loose and bagged figures in. Well happy to have one at last. A glasslite luke card back with Bubble still attached.

Thanks

Rich

That's a fantastic deal and you do indeed have the UK set as the numbers on the red set are 1A ect and the US set continued after the last number on the blue set ( 66 on blue, 67 on red I think). I would have also snapped that set up so it just goes to show that there are still bargains out there! :D

Oh and if that box is ever something you want to let go of please do drop me a line!!

Thanks for clearing that up for me bud, and if I ever decide to sell it, you'll be first in the queue ;)
