Is it the light or is the Vader saber really that dark? Nice loose figures but double check on that saber if it's not a trick of the light, wouldn't want you to have a painted repro.

Yeah it's just the light I took the pic's with no natural light so it was dark, it is a genuine one..

I saw it Grant, just already got it, but superb deal you got on it, mine is much more beat than yours & I would not let it go for twice that mate, you got a real steal, I was half tempted myself as an upgrade as mine has a big hole through the card,so really glad I did not bid now mate, great score

Haha I used to own that 8D8! It changes hands quite a bit due to the damage I think! I've got a funny story (or not) about that sticker damage actually..

When I got it, the card was pristine and it looked even better with that clear bubble on it but there were originally two price stickers on the top right of the card. They never really bothered me (I'm usually quite happy to leave stickers on cards) but for some reason one day I decided to try and remove them, they came up easy enough but to my surprise the card had that big arse sticker tear underneath! :shock:

I'm pretty sure the seller I got it from was responsible for the cover up :evil: but I never got anywhere with him on a partial refund so I sold it on, it looked like this before the sticker removal:

Glad to see it end up in yet another collection, are you keeping him Rob? :lol:
