Yep- vintage and sealed. Jez found them on ebay- never seen them come up for sale. I think they are more likely found in the US.

:lol: :lol: I am keeping to my word, just!!!! But at the moment money is being spent on stuff for the house so although I am not spending on Star Wars, not managing to save either!!!

Cracking Fett addition's crealkilla.

Well, to say I am chuffed is an understatement. I am over the moon with the piece that turned up yesterday. No buying done, I will explain.

Last year I snapped up an ESB Yoda baggie from Graham that I think I beat quite a few people to. Frank then got in touch and asked if I would be happy trading it with another Yoda baggie as the one I had just bought was a variant he didn't have. No problems there, just find me another one and we can do a trade.

So months pass with not a peep from Frank. Then a PM arrives, he's found one. Sweet, post it over to me and i'll send you my one. So, new Yoda baggie received I think they look much better displayed in acrylic so send him off to UKG to get graded. 3 weeks pass and I get an e-mail from Steve basically saying the baggie is a fake. I contact Frank and he can't believe it, he checked and double checked it with his and pics but alas, even the best of us miss these sometimes. So anyway, Frank says leave it with me I will sort this out. I will say I do not hold anything against Frank for the fake, it was one of those things. Franks integrity and knowledge as a baggie master is still undiminished.

So another couple of weeks pass and Frank PM's again saying he has found one, but the guy also has a better one that if I want he will try to persuade the guy to sell. Go for it is my response. After another couple of week's waiting, this absolute beauty arrives on my doorstep freshly graded from UKG

These don't come up very often so I am hugely thankful to Frank for 1. Sorting out the problem with the first baggie and 2. Managing to get this baggie into my collection and Yoda focus. I can't stop looking at it, just love it!!!!

Some more Palitoy cardbacks to add to my first 20 collection... with a few doubles which I'll sell on to help pay for these latest purchases :lol: . A real shame that the C-3PO card has had the top part sliced off- it would have been a superb example otherwise Luke X-WIng Pilot is a favourite, my main reason for going for this lot at auction (apologies for bidding against you, Stevie- I'll let you know which cards I'm going for in future :wink: ).

And a cheeky little ESB card, just so that I've got at least one... I've always loved that chunky logo at the top.

Missed a few days on here due to other commitments, but wow some of these additions are superb!

Just looked at the last page for now - standout for me has to be the Palitoy cardbacks Martin, especially Luke X-Wing (I have to admit I'm quite envious :mrgreen: ) but they are all very nice. Let me know if you have doubles you no longer need
