I had this disappointment this morning when I opened my first box of goodies since starting to collect again...

... and this is what the card looks like

Not sure whether the fault lies with my seller in the US, or the US forward shipping company that sent it to me here in NZ
I've gone in all guns blazing at both of them anyway and also opened up an ebay case

Oh my word! It makes me feel sick seeing that!

Love the Death Star, would love to get me one of those although I've got enough on my hands with carded Palitoys at the moment!

I will let you guys know how the obi-wan claim turns out... I'm having trouble getting my head around how anyone can be such an utter ******** to pack an MOC like that. Unfortunately I don't know who's to blame right now so the worst of my venom will have to wait :evil:

Still, the other MOCs and my Death Star make up for it... takes me back to Christmas 1978 and this time it will NOT be getting sold :lol:

Thanks 8) - where are you heading? I wouldn't worry about shipping, you should be ok as long as you use Pickfords or someone reputable to do your shifting. We didn't have a single item damaged in our move.

Really just got lucky with the Luke card from Ryan, delighted to add him to the collection. As for picking up stuff locally here in Dublin it's a bit hit and miss, you have to be prepared to travel for most pieces tbh... I reckon it's still a bit easier to find some items in the US?

Been back collecting for a week now, and these are my aquisitions so far. No one particular focus at the moment, have a few ideas. Am liking the idea of a 'Hoth' focus of sorts.

Got 37 carded figs this week, and these are my faves - nice and minty.

Grabbed some boxed stuff.

And these bits arrived yesterday all in nice condition and with inserts/instructions/catalogues etc.

Will post again with update in a week. All happening quite quickly so far, but will slow down once I start getting more focussed.

Nick, really nice items - spooky I was thinking of doing a Hoth focus myself, picked up a Luke and Han so far which are still in the US. Love the Palitoy Cloud Car too! 8)

I love the Hoth scenes in the movie, and some of my favourite artwork is from Hoth - in fact ESB in general. Even on the sticker collection when I was a kid it 'wowed' me. Good memories

New York isn't the same anymore as far as vintage Star Wars goes all the good shops are long gone! There's Toy Tokyo they have vintage some times but never ever for a deal!

That OB1 is a real shame. Would deffo take it up with the seller. I'm sure anyone who sells stuff on here will agree that there's no ******* way a carded figure should be shipped out like that :evil:

About time I posted a few goodies in this thread (although can't match the 37 MOCs in a week!)

First up are a couple of the Trilogo's that I have been chasing forever. They have come from Mr Trilogo himself and are in great shape - I love the ERG as this is one I have been chasing for a long time

Next up is this POTF Biker Scout - another I have been chasing for a good while and actually one of my favourite cards

Finally, like buses I managed to pick up my second DT Luke in a matter of weeks having never owned one before - this one is in amazing shape and came from the man himself - Bram
