It's not even on the palitoy.org cardback matrix and is the second known example of this cardback/figure MOC known to exist. Guess who has the first known example and gave me a heads up on the ebay auction?

Clue 1:- We share the same surname
Clue 2:- His first name rhymes with "Barry" of Eastenders...

Thanks. I was quite surprised to win that auction given I outbid the previous bidder by 2 quid 3 hours before auction end and then went to the cinema. I thought there was likely to be a lot of last minute bids given it's rarity!

My Large Head Han arrived today 8)

There is a story behind this - I purchased this from Todd (our resident American), prior to it arriving from AFA Todd had notification that it had received a 90 grade but between the notification and it being encased it had been down graded to an 85 grade. The figure itself has just one very very small (i had to look very hard to find it) paint nick at the top but backish of his head and a nick just as small to the red stripe, imo these take nothing away from the figure whatsoever. Apart from this the figure is absolutely mint, very glossy, clean, the white is very very white etc. Why it didnt keep the 90 grade i will never know, but i am personally very happy with it and will not bother upgrading this one

If I had a figure graded 90 and then afterwards told they changed their mind and give it an 85 I would have told them to get ******!

keeping my boushh weasel and spoons it cost around 50 quid in total with poostage there and back if ity had only got an 85 i would have sold it on but not now

That was the frustrating thing I found when I was collecting them as most 85's I have seen look great and are always better than you expect whilst the 90's can be disappointing as you expect total perfection !! :x

I got a good deal on it but had to drive some distance to see it to make sure it was 100% pukka

It will be going to AFA shortly, I hope it will get an 80 as there are a couple of dings on the corners of the bubble, nothing major though. I was surprised to see AFA have only graded one before on the old single grade scale :shock: I know there are quite a few more ungraded ones around but I didn't realise they were quite so scarce.

I agree there

although once I got an afa 85 carded japaneze gi joe zartan and the bubble was crushed and back had a corner crease which really pissed me off, yet a dutchj clipper afa 85 dengar i got was absolutely perfect better than some of my 90's
