Thanks for looking.

Morning chaps!

After a terrible month of not being able to work and not knowing how to pay the mortgage, plus no car for the foreseeable future... Finally something good landed on my doorstep to cheer me up! :D

Vintage Kenner Products Inter-Departmental Mail Envelope with Preproduction Star Wars Logos.

The Star Wars logos were used by Kenner design team to create some of the first Star Wars toy packages. (see pic.1)

These came from an Ex-Kenner Employee called Charlie Ritchie from Depatrment K-17 (see pic. 2) who I will try and research in the future. On the reverese is the maker of the printed paper "FASSON crack n peel". (see pic.4)

I am over the moon with these examples, so let the research begin! If anyone has any information relevant to these, please, please contact me!

Cheers,

Bram :D

Hi Bram, sorry to hear about your terrible month  I am happy to see something good landed on your doorstep :D that is some outstanding logos

Wow Bram! That's an awesome find. That envelope is one of those things that you'd expect no one in Kenner would have thought to keep.

I know. With all this talk of rare figures that make ludicrous prices I thought these were really lovely and its kind of a "find me another one"... I'm really glad I did the deal and made a great connection who gets some really cool stuff from time to time.

I'd like to find out a bit more about them and the Kenner employee himself.

Nick pick up Bram, just a thought: could the K in K-17 stand for Kenner? Really cool little piece of history there :)

Man, there is a lot of great stuff on every page. Some pages are pretty mind blowing.

And QC ESB Fetts

Bram- your pick up is beyond my experience. Congrats buddy- I have no idea :?
