This place has gone crazy; Silver Grin, JC, Timbo, Grant, Chris there are some wicked pick ups there. So glad some of them went (Power Droid, Chewie) otherwise i'd have nabbed them!

Great buys guys, Luke Skywalker, Hammerhead, R2, awesome!

Dave's big day was massively important to vintage collecting.

I've gone a bit mad myself in September, i'm thinking about calling it a day until Christmas (there is no rush to get the others; Meccano Jawa, Farmboy, Leia Organa, Chewie, Yoda, Ben).

Here are my latest bad boys;

Thanks to Jorn and and Ebay

Nice Gam Guard. 8) Is that a made in mexico version? Bubble looks pretty clear.
I'll have to check mate.
I bought him from Iain. One of the first questions i asked was "Is it legit? The bubble looks ace"
Of course, it turns out it is legit. Iain knows his stuff.
You don't see many with a bubble that good though. It really is a lovely card.

I'll check later

These ones are Junior Junior's purchases from the day, mostly from Iain (including a freebie, thanks mate :D ) and a few other stalls, including the Jawa that I wanted.

He's got great taste, he must get it from his dad!

Nice Wampa and Chewie, lost boy. I wasn't able to view them before (at work) we are still running Windows Explorer 3!
My Gam guard card has "made in Hong Kong or Taiwan as labeled herein" on the reverse. I think the flash makes it look clearer than it is.

Cool Lando Slider

Some superb carded figures there Jez. They look great in the acrylic cases too. Was great to meet you on sunday by the way. The new setup at your house looks amazing.

Im sorry to break the MOC love here guys but I had to share this one with you. As many of you know from my sales threads I have recently been trying to secure a grail piece for my 3 pack run. I must thank Liam for sending me a link to a rather random post elsewhere on the net which really paid off as a lead for me, so thanks buddy. Well, after a very tense wait and a bit of a post office scare it has finally arrived. It is a Canadian Imperial Forces 3 Pack.

For those that dont know, Canadian 3 Pack sets are notably much more scarce than their US counterparts. In this case, as far as I can tell, only 2 examples of this set have surfaced so far and this is the nicer of the 2. The reason being, is that these sets were only available in small quantities to certain department stores who signed up to the department store programme. This particular set originates from Simpsons and it still has the price sticker on the side of the pack. I will post a piece on my limelight thread at some point about the difference between the US and Kenner sets.

In the meantime here is a link to the SWCA where this set is pictured at the bottom of the page.

I am literally over the moon with this. Sorry about the crap pic guys its the only picture I had time to take earlier as I had to go out tonight. Better pics to follow which should show some of the cool features of this set.

All the best, Chris. :D

Mate, I am thrilled for you. It's absolutely stunning!
Looking forward to seeing it as your center piece.
It was great to see you too dude, and your contribution to the collectors display.

Once again, I'm stoked for you Chris.
I knew that you were so excited about this one, now I know why! A true grail piece!

nice toltoys nein numb snaggletooth

thats a cool 3 pack Chris, glad it arrived, looks great and sweet looking clear bubble, congrats.
Also looking at your avatar which you had a while, I now notice that its the same logo as the piece you brought in.

Chris, Wow!! I was stoked with my Luke Stormie but that is in another league altogether. Absolutely over the moon for you buddy that this arrived safe and sound. Looks very mint, and only 2 in the world. Amazing!!! Congrats Chris.

So many great new pick ups. Love the Top Toys Trooper. Well done all. 8)

As for Chris. Well done mate, chuffed for you. This truly is a grail piece and in such amazing condition. Thanks also to Liam as what turned out as a good lead for Chris turned out as a good lead for me too :D

Looking forward to the 3-Pack limelight update.

Great work Chris - we all knew it was a big piece but only 2 known in the world - quality

Some more great buys.
Lostboy,nice Pali Chewy.
Slider, great Lando. I was tempted myself as that one has a different bubble to the one I have.
Jez, pleasure to meet you and a cracking haul buddy. Loving the TT Stormie, in fact I'm loving all of them.
Chris, absolutely epic  I could tell how stoked you were on Sunday about getting this one. It's an absolute beauty buddy and when you factor in the rarity with it being Canadian you must be made up. I've always liked the 3 packs but the sheer cost and elusiveness of them put me off. Congratulations mate, now you need to update your limelight
