Superb Miscard there Joe! Total bizarre how Ackbar could end up on a sandpeople card.

This arrived today, the thing I like most about these is the inclusion of the Blue Snag on the back of the card. Anyone know if the Meccano's are the only cardbacks in which old bluey makes an appearance?

Really happy with it and got it for a good price ( many thanks to James for spotting it for me ) has a couple of cracks in the bubble unfortunatley but not enough to crack the ***** about.

Nice one Ryan! To answer your question - yep it is the only cardback that shows him!

Cheers fellas, thanks Joe good to know he managed to get on one before he was cast onto the scrap heap.

This is the item I got from Klaus, now it has quite a back story..

I have to thank Liam for being cool about this, it was one of the items Klaus held for him that he sold after his confusion with Iain saying he didn't want to deal with him again. Appreciate it Liam!

I have been looking for A MOC version for a while but with the last MOC selling for an insane amount of money the cardback was too cool to pass up! (http://trilogo.info/features/ewok-warriors/)

That's very cool. I remember reading that article on your site. So how much do the carded examples go for? Just how rare are they (sealed)?

Thanks guys and again Liam -thanks dude!

Pete, one appeared on ebay and was quickly "stolen" by a tempting outside offer, I have heard that offer was over (and quite a bit over) 1,000 euros.

Lumat seems the easiest of the two to find, Paploo is incredibly hard to find - I know of 2 MOC and 1 cardback, but 1 of those MOC might as well be a cardback it is thrashed!

Nice coin.

How many do you have?

I was thinking about starting. Any advice?

I've got a few now :) Quite a few of the guys here followed me in completing my 62 set. It's a lot of fun, but also required a lot of patience and cash.

Here's a little guide I put together originally here a few years ago that will at least give you an idea of what all is out there.

Also, if you're on Facebook, I recommend joining the The POTF Coin Facebook group. There's a good solid group of coin collectors there that can help with questions and coins do get listed for sale there from time to time.

Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions. I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
