Some stunning buys from NEC, love the power droid!!!, nice boxed bits to m8, bet you have been buzzing all the festive season eh.

I have finally had a multi-pack land on the doorstep today that I have been waiting for for some time, I was real worried this one may go missing in the post with it being that time of year & my track record with luck :lol: , but on getting it I am flabbergasted - the baggies are super duper minty, they literally look as if they just left the production line, & I don't have a single one of them yet, almost every one is a variant on others I already have which is such a bonus.

The big one in this lot is the Luke jedi with Blue sabre, been after him for a while now.

Here is a VERY generous gift from Josh, a lovely Christmas present (I assume as a little thank you for a link to a certain bounty hunter moc)

The photo really doesnt do this item justice- in hand it is truly stunning. The clarity is just perfect- I love it! It measures 5" wide and 4" high. It is a Kenner transparency for the land of the jawas. It came from cloud city and has a coa.
Josh I am soooo grateful for this beautiful item, I really owe you man! To really do it justice It needs to go in an illuminted box frame- which intend to make when I get back to work!

Hey Ed, this looks beautiful! But honestly, I don't have any idea what it is ... can you (or anybody else) please shed some light on this???

(And Ed, if you read this, it would be REALLY great if you were able to find the black Droopy flute. Been checking on eBay recently every now and then and was not able to find it ...)

Argh! The flute! So sorry buddy, I know where it is- I PROMISE I will dig it out tomorrow- no work and a free house so you have my word!!

As for the transparency, from what I can gather it is an internal (Kenner) photo that was used on the box art for the land of the jawas. I am assuming it is the original "negative" for every reproduction of the box image ever used!!
Maybe a more enlightened member could confirm this?!
I do know it is absolutely beautiful and now i want more of them!!!

I think they sell them in tescos! Seriously I think these all originated from ex Kenner employees and the skip rats that managed to pick prototype items out of Kenners bins!

As it was a gift I have no idea of the price, I stupidly passed on the transparency for the jawa card art earlier in the year- that was up for fifty odd quid. I wish I bought it.

Ps I found the flute- I will get it packaged up for you buddy

Yes I love that Power Droid it is so hard to find a minty one with the feet in unplayed with conditon! . Oh Yes and may have another huge purchase in the pipline too!
