Well a short while ago I posted a new purchase being a 4-lom baggie, since managed to obtain another one in that bulk lot I bought, now tell me guys which one is the fake? -

Tape sealed one

Heat sealed one

I would not have notice myself if I had not had both types in hand TBH, so I still have a lot to learn with collecting baggied figures.

Im gonna stick my neck but the heat sealed one doesnt look quite right. the texture of the bag or something just doesnt sit right with me. Then again I dont know a great deal about baggies. The tape sealed one would surely have been the easier to fake of the two though I would have thought..

The heat sealed bag has been cut down. Costawanker star wars and his many aliases pull that trick

Could be either but I will go heat as well as Andy says it looks pretty short.

As you know Frank the most common baggied figure out there is probably the C3P0 rem limbs with that turquoise kinda coloured text, easy to find, easy to **** around with and reseal other figures into! :twisted:

There was a guy that sealed a Blue snag into one once and it still reached £200 on the bay

You are right guys, its the heat sealed on & Joe is spot on - its a C-3p0 baggie that's been heat sealed with another figure in, no idea why I did not spot it when I was bidding as I know this happens with this baggie style, but its dam close to the ROTJ-c with the only difference being the heat seal, this will teach me to be more vigilant I hope.

bloody scammers, don't you just love ebay, I contacted the seller about this & he did not respond after 3 days, open'd a PP claim & got a reply in 2 hours flat, should be getting a full refund with luck.

Got myself a couple of absolute minty Tri's through the post today together with an upgrade for my Hybrid Bespin Guard.

Cheers Joe - was dead happy when I opened them up - think I got them for decent money as well.

The Numb hasn't arrived yet and as far as I know I haven't had anything through the door - am away tomorrow/Thursday but will call into the Post Office Friday and check.

Cheers Pete - Tri-Yoda was a bit of a grail of mine so I was dead happy to get him for under £100 - he looks great - there is a small dint in the front of the bubble but apart from that he looks amazing

Anything under a hundred is a steal for that. I got mine for 80 and it's nowhere near in that condition. NIce buy. :wink:
