Well mixed blessing this time guys I am afraid, got a right strange deal going on, I bought 4 figures from a seller in the US on ebay (4 baggies), I ask him for insured postage option which he does @ $29.50, he then forgets to send one of them & offers me a refund, the one left out is the one I really want
so he say's he will post that one off at his expense but standard postage, which so far seems not to bad right?.
Then I get my usual slip from the tax man as the guy has put the full value of the 4 figures down, has not marked the parcel as "gift" or "collectables" as requested (said they went out b4 I asked), so I get hit for tax on the full amount & am sadly down the sum of £27.39 on top - Gutted yet again.
Now that could have been an expected outcome & not the end of the world right?, it gets worse, I open up the parcel to see my figures, ROTJ-a Ree-yees
Bib fortuna ESB-a & what I expected to be a ESB-d weequay.
Ree-Yees thankfully is all good & the best one out of the 3, so I am happy with that thankfully
Big is covered with splits & tears all over the baggie which is rather frustrating as there was no mention of this on the listing
But then I check my Weequay (listed as a sealed baggie) & its actually a ESB-c with the tape missing & opened at one end WTF?
:shock: :? not best pleased I can tell you guys
Still awaiting the 4th one which I am hoping will be a C-3p0 fixed limb in a ESB-h baggies, I am now shitting it awaiting its arrival, wonder what horror story awaits me with its arrival :|
I have contacted the seller regarding this, but I don't see it ending well.
Not trying to put a downer on the thread, just showing my latest acquisition - after all not all deals can be peaches.
I am still well chuffed with the Ree-yees & with luck the 3p0 will be a good one.
On another plus note - I managed to get all the stupit price & name stickers of without further damage to the baggies
