The postie has been good to you indeed Gary, some stunning cards there bud, peronally I think my favourite card backs are the ESB's but only saying that to piss Dennis off with his ROTJ carded collection  the only ones I am not over keen on are the flavour of the month being the Tri - logos.

Think I like your Han H oth the best, all seem to be in vary nice nick Gary & that Aussie Nick seems a nice guy to deal with.

Here is what the postie brought me today, feel like Christmas has come early for me as its the best condition multi pack I have so far & got it at a great price 2. :)

My first ROTH-d baggie as well so a real double whammy for me, pleased as punch

Some great purchases guys. They seem to be coming thick and fast at present. Good stuff. :D

Loving your baggie collection Frunkstar. You've added some great pieces recently.

All over the place with my focus at present. Brought a MISB Star Wars R2-D2 Bop Bag today…………!!!

Thanks guys, yep the baggie collection has had some nice additions of late & I am really pumped now to get the ball rolling with trying to some day catalogue as many baggie figure styles & combos as i can, maybe even get a euro baggie guide together some day.

A bop bag eh!, just seen a dart vader one on ebay & its been graded WTF??, they grade anything these days init, have you been giving yours some licks??

Really loving the baggies bud, vv nice indeed.

 The one I brought is graded so if I punch it I may come of worse!

I know it's stupid to get a bop bag, board game…puzzle etc graded but for me it's less about a grade and more about sealing it to keep it safe. My collection will be bust open and enjoyed many many many years from now if ever.

So its more of a crunch bag now then

did you see the vader one on flidbay? if thats your thing, I had a clown bop bag as a kid & I tell you it took a hammering, must dig up a photo.

Did anyone else notice something strange about the mailer box?, or more accurately the 3 baggies it contained??

Awesome 3 pack Frunkstar

Nice MOC's Badderius I also picked up one of Aussie_Nicks carded figures, a nice B-Wing pilot for a cool $25 delivered great seller.

Just a quick question on the proof above. How can these be authenticated, I work with a lot of printers in my job and in my experience they will run anything off given a few quid. (the above proofs would be no problem to get done)

Not questioning the above just curious

Awesome proof card Ed. A fantastic piece of preproduction there. Really eye catching. 8)

Pigcity: Is it really that easy to do? Havent print processes and machines moved on a great deal by now? I would have thought the technology to make these would be pretty redundant by now and short of getting an old machine it wouldnt be easy. People have been knocking out fake cards for many years but no one has got it just right yet. Thank God! From the fakes Ive seen there has always been some kind of difference though very subtle sometimes.

There are plenty of old machines around that ran these type of things out. Over the years I have seen many printers/enthusiasts who have old presses etc who find them more reliable and prefer the finishes & still use them. Seriously all it takes is to find a printer who is knowledgeable of the processes with an old set-up to run a near identical cromalin or proof. Cards are more of a minefield due to the stock, die cutting etc. but proofs.......

Here is my latest offering to the Star Wars gods:

photo-850.jpg

Very sweet indeed, after I finish my MOC run to the quality I want I may go down the proof route, but rather than a full set may be for a char focus, probs Hoth ie Luke Hoth, Han ect ect.

However that is going to be a long way off! So until then I will keep drooling over proofs like yours hehe, again vv sweet item.

Was looking at that but someone got to it before me, least I know its gone to a good home :) Nice pilot and a superb price.

Aussie_Nick is just a superb seller all round, hope he gets his 3K item soon. (RS seller issue). I mean he went out of his way packing, comms on £200 woth of MOCs for me, yet it seems whoever is selling Nick a 3K item hasnt responded in weeks. Sucky....Hope he gets it sorted soon.

Again sweet Pilot there.

Nice! Could you post a pic of Chewie's COO please? Also, is the Bocaster in the pic below similar to the one in that baggie? Note the overall thinner or "flatter" look of the weapon along with the circle on the top rear corner. Thanks!

Cheers for the comments guys- it's a Marmite piece- I think it's the dogs bollocks!
I sort of have a sub focus of alien looking unusual mocs, so this slots in great :)

Pigcity,

Although in therory you could get this printed again I am fairly sure you could tell it was made yesterday.
Like these:

Once it hand an item printed yesterday would be easy to spot. I think the toughest thing to fake is the stale fug of a 30 year old piece of cardboard.

Not posted on here in over a year.
