Yeah I think your right emiel nice to have a bit of back ground on it.
Still I don't think it's the original stormie as he would be hard bodied right??

But a beater tri logo with weapon and fig for .99p can't go wrong really

I'm not a variant savant (tm), but you might be right. You could add the right figure from your vault though, right?

It's a cool piece.

Nice one Imperial what a bargain.

Here's my latest always dreamed of owning an AT-AT as a kid, it's not the best example with some heavy yellowing to the legs ( Looking for some replacements ) missing stickers but has it's chin guns and as shown in another thread I got the electrics working, love it all the same. Local sale for $76 so no postage cost was the clincher.

Had to rearrange to display case to fit the bugger in :D

Been waiting for this to arrive, i'm really pleased i finally have one :D

Cheers Guys, its great! Though there is what looks like deterioration to the plastic around the edges of the bubble where its stuck to the card.....Is this common on 12 backs? :?

I've spoken to Adam about the edges and he's reassured me that this happens as a factory/ manufacturing "flaw" , or basically the net result of when the bubble was applied at the factory back in the day. When the bubble is applied to the cardboard backing, the pressure/heat from it being mated to the cardback can result in that (edges of the plastic bubble fraying/flaking).

Cheers mate
Burnsy has a couple of graded ones for sale for £425 each (R2-D2 and Stormtrooper), my Vader cost me a fair bit more than that and the rarer ones go for around £1000 i think.

Very happy camper here...my hunch was right. Tucked away in a bunch of figures I bought there was a 'mouldy' hidden amongst them!! Happy days for a tenner inc postage!! :)

Might see if I can find a snap cape for him too
