Yeah the top insert is inside the box. It's complete as complete can be and i'll make you even more sick and admit that I was hoping to get it for around $80! The electronics are frozen up at the moment though.

Do the batteries make enough contact? That was the problem with mine. Otherwise open it and just give the motor a few spins manually.

Well I've blown my SW bolt for this month...All loose items but fairly good nick

1. Kenner Star Destroyer playset
2. Bespin Han
3. Small head ANH Han
4. White hair Obi Wan
5. Some repro stuff I won't mention on here!

Now repaired and restickered my knackered Palitoy X-Wing and Tie interceptor to a state where they can come in from the garage and live in the den!!

Gee you lot are demanding! Only just won the auction re the Star Destroyer playset. Hopefully it'll be in my hands by the start of next week!

When I get back from work this evening I'll post up some pics of the figs. All have nice tight limbs. But only the Bespin Han came with original accessories.

Hoping the SD doesn't need much in the way of repairs (it was listed as Having a broken hologram. Hopefully this be a simple glue job.) besides it only cost me 18 quid plus p&p!

Hey wookie- nice figures, when you say restore them do you mean repaint them? I would strongly advise not doing so! I have only got one figure from my childhood it's at the centre on my collection and it's a complete beater!
Most collectors would kill to have a childhood figure, it's not the same if it's been painted
It's your so you can do what you want but you may regret painting or "restoring" them

You know what, after some consideration I've decided not to mess around with my original childhood figures (except perhaps a couple of really yellow stormies.)

I've been quietly reading through a lot of the threads on here and there's some real horror stories out there, such as unscrupulous eBay sellers, repros passed off as originals, unmentioned reseals and the scandal of "U" grades - something that is totally beyond my comprehension.

A lot of my figures are total beaters - they were heavily played with around the globe! So I guess I'll be looking to replace the more battered ones rather than 'restoring' them after all.

Now who out there has a nice minty Bespin Luke (dark hair) that they want to part with? Weapons not necessary - I still have mine.
