not in the same league as Sith Jawa's hardcopy (very nice indeed) but here is my latest - a MIB Bespin Control Room

Lovely job Andy on the Cromalin.

Can you tell me more about the framing costs etc, I need to do the same for mine!

There are a few frame shops here but I think I might try ordering a kit from the USA because I am not sure they offer matte framing and I don't want that cromalin to touch the glass.

Cheers Joe - I looked into framing options quite extensively and in the end I went with a local firm at Oxford's market - costs about £40, but the materials aren't necessarily 'archival', although they are no worse than a vintage cardboard box

Another option was an acrylic frame (about £150) but you have to glue or tape the cromalin or proof in. Or lastly a different framer in Oxford, using archival materials (£150-£200).

All options are cheaper for smaller items, but you can see why I went for the local market guy.

when i had my picture frames made the guy said get acid free card mounts or it would turn the picture yellow over time but the acid free will stay white and not leak

I heard the same thing, but as I hang my proofs/cromalins on the wall I figure they'll turn yellow eventually anyway. with acid free they'll just have a nice white border around the edge :)

Really nice items.

Love the framed signature photos and the ad Shawn.

The Hardcopy is sweet..from Steve?

Weaz, The Micro set looks mint mate. Still think that's a great focus aswell as the Cromalin 8) 8) 8)

Yes, the Hardcopy is from Steve. Though beautiful, the arms are fragile..

The INT-4 Cromalin looks sweet. Very nice score..

Andy, I love the Control Room but I think the Cromalin looks absolutely amazing!

SJ, fantastic piece of history there. I was already impressed when Steve got it and am happy it went to an in-forum collection.

Thanks guys

this bunch arrived yesterday,, and is in addition to the 128 imperials so far (12 months) and from as far away as canada and san diego.
I got weapons with about half but it was a pain getting them to stand let alone hold weapons.

And a slight upgrade fett to boot, Also the Impe commander has a more matt finish on his torso, even slightly textured? is this a known variation
Also got a hardbody minty white trooper in one lot which was nice ,as i wasnt mentioned. :P

anyway heres the lot. Oh and thanks to snaggletooth and others on RS for these.

Steve that loose collections and army's coming along great dude. Good work! ;)

It's been a while but I found these two on the shelf at a collectibles store yesterday. Prices for all the other figures there were outrageous but I figured I could splurge a little on these two! Good times! 8)

So bloody over the moon as hard as **** to find so when I saw one grabbed it while I could. In better condition than I thought too but really couldn't beleive the weight of it. I knew it was made of lead but still, lol!!!

Big thanks to Jason on RS. ;)

Today I had a great find so might be worth a look in Argos I got the Lego slave 1 for £49.99 but you have to see if your local store has one because you can't order online the item no is 388/5064

nice trem ham, made from lead?? thats weird out.

jedi they are nice, and its really sweet when you actually buy something in a shop rather than on fleabay

josh- yeah i am goin to look up the bleachy thread, anyone know what the long term effects are?? :|

Thnaks Steve, yeah basically Model Trem never had the rights to make official Star Wars figures and anyway they made them of lead but later changed them to a kind of plastic as I'm sure wasn't too healthy for kids. ;) Thats when Glasslite cam into play and got hold of the lisense to sell the star wars stuff... and proparly too. ;)
