Gungan Genocide!!!!

"Otoh Gunga , Naboo — The mass graves are hidden in the darkening shade of a hard-to-reach Lianorm Swamp, close to the plains, at the end of a treacherous dirt track slippery with mud and Shaaks dung.

Those who survived say they did not go to the meeting called by Trade Federation soldiers. The Gungan peasants who did were brought out of the thatched-roof meeting house two by two, to be bludgeoned to death with their own Atlatls. Some 300 city-dwellers died that morning, according to the local Observation Centre for Gungan Rights and Social Assistance.

The slaughter of Gungans which preceded the invasion of Naboo is little known, and its perpetrators never have been brought to justice. The discovery of mass graves prompted investigations that led to a controversial Senate report which accuses invading Trade Federation troops of killing tens of thousands of Gungans around 33 BBY.

"There are many, many such mass graves. We've identified 30 just in this area, but our research indicates that this was the first massacre committed by Trade Federation troops," the centre's coordinator, said beside the verdant foliage of the jungle."

 How did you get it off like that?

Great MOC by the way.

Furniture polish. Spray on a dust cloth, gently rub the sticker with your finger inside the cloth until the paper becomes damp and the paper part will start to come away in small lumps. Keep going with the polish until the glue starts to move too. This is when you need to exercise a bit more caution as you don't want to get the card wet.

Look forward to seeing the finished article TFB. How on earth will you patch up the gaping name hole? :?

Top secret....but It is possible to do a top notch repair. I am just pleased that the bubble was sliced off and not ripped from the cardback.

Card looks in great nick, it should scrub up well!

I don't usually post loose stuff here but a couple of my recent purchases are relatively significant.
First off i got these 6 Troopers this week. All nice and white and with original weapons and they have finally put me over the 50 mark which i was aiming to get to by the end of the year. As always i got them nice and cheap with the most expensive by far being £8.
I have 53 now and am in the process of picking up another 20... :D
Also, 3 of the 6 have No Coo and 1 has the Coo rubbed off (not sure what that means. :?
Maybe someone can enlighten me, are the No Coo ones worth more than the 'raised bar china' ones?

The 3 on the left have No Coo the one on the right has Coo rubbed off.

Next i bought this lot (except the Nikto) from Gandalf off SWCC. He kindly threw in a Yak staff and i now have replaced two of the 3 dirty repros i had accidentally purchased. (the Nikto was bought for his staff too. £2.28 not bad)

Thanks guys. I have both light brown and dark brown Dengars and altho the fat bastard can't hold a rifle to save his life, he is one of my fave figs and i lean towards preferring the dark armour version. 8)

Thanks Steve. How's your imperial army coming along?
There's a lot of 8 Stormtroopers just come up on ebay at a great price. I'd have loved the whitey one in there but a few of them are on the yellow side for my liking. Plus i've bought a bucket load this month.
Would you like a link?

Great figures Steve. Also good to hear some more of your Yak Faces have proper weapons now.

It's Pete Emiel. As you should know by now.

And yeah, i had one real weapon and 3 fake. I really hadn't done my homework on repro weapons but i didn't really loose out as the Yaks were very cheap and i would have bought them either way i just got unlucky with so many of them having repros. I've managed to pick up two real staffs already and 1 was free!
Just one more to get now.
