Lol ron, what are collecting mate?. Weaz, it is a boring figure but for some reason i find the cardback really nice.

Hi guys

Going to finish off my loose set. Also going to put together a set of right damaged cheap cards. So if any 1 got any for sale give me a shout

Good to see you back collecting mate. Now how long till we drag Grant back!?

Del, as far as the cardback goes, TBH it's one that I don't really have any strong feelings towards. I don't dislike it, nor do I particularly like it. It's just a run of the mill cardback. Yours is in great nick though! 8)

hey poncho nice cardbacks and rigs,, i might have some spares for the ISP-6 if you want em for free, think i have a gun or two and skis, no use to me should only be pennies to post? pm if you want em.

My R2 arrived this morning safe n sound. The cardback no doubt is at least a 90 but as usual the bubble is anything between an 80-85. But sweet piece none the less. :D

I'm actually not too impressed as have just discovered that the pic of the one he was selling, which was suppose to be mine, isn't. His sticker is slighty to the left more and on my bottom right of the bubble I have a small ding and his doesn't!!

I think although it's not advertised as a stock picture, the pictures you see are basically just that, because he has so many of the damn things he probably can't be bothered to picture them all individually.

Did you get a description before buying detailing any flaws? Maybe he will just swap it with you for another.

Lovely MOC Ham but I think your right to be a little cheesed mate for it not being the one in the auction. Also, I always think that with carded figures c9+ is a BOLD statement to make.

Thanks Chris. I also went on good Talk about Toy Toni so was trusting him under everyones feedbakc on him.

Ive never dealt with him but I must say that he has some lovely items. If I were you feel strongly that you would like the MOC from the image then perhaps raise the point politely. Im sure he will understand.

He has a very good rep Ham and i don't think it's an intentionally deceptive act but it is wrong. He should have at least sent you pics. If i were you i'd write to him and ask if it can be swapped as it a)isn't C9 in you opinion and b) isn't the one pictured which is what you were hoping.
Worth a try at least.
If you payed top dollar, you are entitled.

No go Pete. He replied...

"Ive sent you a 9+ example- c9+ is not mint and will show some imperfections thats why its graded c9+ and not c9.5 or mint- not all the pics on the site are of the exact figure but i send out the equivalent grade - the example pictured on the website had some imperfections to the bubble and was graded as such. I no longer have that one and youve been sent one of equivalent grade thanks toni"

Thats the last time I buy off him.

Hey, look. At least you said your piece. It's a quality MOC and he's taking the piss a little not ending out the item pictured but he's not totally off point. The items are of a very close if not identical quality. On top of that MOCs have the tendency to look better on pics. I'd just take this one as a lesson learnt as it's so minimal and not worth getting your self worked up over.
Don't get ,me wrong he's totally in the wrong as especially with vintage SW the slightest flaw can mean everything which is why buyers demand exact and specific pictures and descriptions of items for sale and he should know that as well as anyone. As we've seen AFA would judge one thing 80 and one 85 for seemingly tiny differences.

I would say to anyone buying from TT, ask for pics of the exact item being sent.

Pete, my R2 has dings on every corner and a tiny one on the top right front... looking as that stock pic it has none and certainly wouldn't classify mine as a C9+ or a C9!

Well if you're that unhappy with it send it back and wait for a better one to come along. I can't examine it so don't know what i would give but it's all to do with how happy you're going to be with it.
BIt of a shame as he has a few tri's i have my eye on but i am as fussy as you mate. I don't mind the odd dings on tri's if i'm getting them cheap but when i'm paying top dollar (or for something advertised as condition 9) i expect the very best.

Exactly. I'm not gonna be out of pocket for this and dont know if he's gonna refund the full amount + postage. I cant be bothered with it all now. It's f**ked me off and feel like I've been con'd. It's a headache and to be honest the guy doesn't seem that friendly. I asked him questions to which he avoided like does it come shipped in a star case!

Ham, sounds like you got the ****** end of the stick mate. I think his attitude is terrible. If your not happy with the item the seller should refund no questions asked. As Pete said using file photos is dodgy ground...I've seen a few eBay auctions with file/ library pictures, scam written all over it. I think he should pay all the costs as he is in the wrong. All that said it is still a nice item mate, but as you are paying top money you should get top condition and top service. Have you had either of those?
I have been tempted by some of his items but I think i will give him a wide berth. Shame coz I understand he has several cases of Meccano jawas..... I would love to know where he gets his stock from? He must have an amazing contact somewhere.
