i kinda got the whole lot for under €20, two of the mini rigs were .99cent each, so one dodgy trooper for the army wont cause me to get the double telescoping bat out.

but i am loving the bargain hunting,,,,,,, even though i am not hunting mint or anywhere near it.

German MOC's IMO they are :

That's often the gamble with stormies. I buy loads and it's always hard to tell the exact quality from the pics. I have sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not.

Some really nice additions DelBoy you might have given me the direction if i ever hit MOC collecting, cause i am loving the german cardbacks?? how come they are all so minty?? Was it the efficient german children keeping their toys hermetically sealed ya?

But my search and digging continues, with bargains and beaters. i will just list things in euros as we are now fairly international.

I got a badly messed up luke jedi,Teebo and a nice emperor for €4 and then i actually jumped into ebay.
Years ago i sold a few things on there when it was just starting out, but this was the first ever purchase from it.

And it was alright as i kept my search to ireland so if i got done over i could call round in person to crack heads and take names. :twisted:

Nice finds guys and Emiel what you go and get a conscience for, lol. It was one figure I remember having as a kid and loved it with the Jabba set.

Happy to get hold of these next two. A fairly easy to obtain 41bk Han Hoth but the card is an absolute beauty,one of the best I have.

Finally a 30bk Han Bespin another in excellent condition,just a shame the tape/gun has come away from the bubble

This look a little while to arrive from Germany but pleased with it.
Reckon i payed about top price but it's one i've been after for a while.

At last it arrived!!!

Been waiting a while on this baby and I'm well chuffed. This now sits within my top 5 items in my collection.

The arrival of this also showed a shift in my wife's interest in my SW obsession.

The converstaion went something like this...

The Wife : 'Something else arrived for you today, the box ix in the other room'.

Me : 'Yeah thanks I got it'

The Wife 'What was it?'

Me : 'Oh that item from Mexico that went missing, been waiting months for it'

The Wife : 'Bootleg?' (this is the bit that shocked me!!!!)

Me (I start to get excited and ramble as she's shown an interest : 'No it's a boxed Ledy ship, bloody rare and I'm stoked' (I did ramble more than that).

Then the dreaded question :

The Wife : "How much was that?'

I give a slightly deflated price as my answer.

The Wife : " HOW MUCH!?!? That's more than me Ugg Boots!!'
