Having received the 12 Back luke farmboy from Ryan, this arrived today from Shaun (jedi). A really nice Luke Jedi card. I like the original price sticker on the card, think it adds character

Heartfelt condolences mate, my gran died in 1983 she was a real Cockney, born in Canning town, swore like a trooper and told the most fantastic stories, still miss her to this day, you know what mate because you were close she will live on in you, so great that your back into collecting, I'm sure your Gran would be right behind you on that :wink:

Got a couple more Palitoy MOCs to scratch off the list. Firstly a Biker Scout:

This has been opened but could easily be resealed with not much effort and would look good even if it is yellowed. Some problems, unfortunately WHICH WERE CAUSED BY THE SELLER SENDING IT IN A BUBBLE ENVELOPE WITH LITTLE PROTECTION! :roll: :evil: The bubble has a ding and the is a crease in the card where the postie squashed it to get through the post box. Oh well, it still looks ok.

Very pleased with this, missed one on eBay which went for a lot more then got this one much cheaper. There is a crack and hole in the bottom of the bubble but isn't that noticeable. Unpunched as well.

And then a bunch of nice Palitoy cardbacks and some snide Kenner ones (due for the bin!) :lol:

Love the fact that these probably belonged to the same kid and he's (or she!) ticked off the figures they've got on the back. I think even I did that (and I'm an OCD **** wanting to keep things as they are!)

This thread is a real feast for the eyes (perhaps green ones, at that :mrgreen: ), but it gives a new collector like me tons of inspiration. Great purchases, congratulations to all. I might just catch you all up, one day...! :wink:
