Reunited with my childhood acquisitions

Not sure if these count as acquisitions, but I'm well pleased to get them out of storage.

Next up clean, catalogue, display, swap, replace missing, complete collection, enjoy

lovely yoda, lee

nice childhood collection paul calf

Paul you have a great childhood collection there, love the Pal backers. Really cool that you have a Clipper offer Original Leia, I don't suppose you can remember if you got that in the UK or if you went over to either Holland or Belgium perhaps to pick that up?

Hope you don't downsize that collection too much, nostalgia is a huge part of why many of us collect and every collector I have ever met that got rid of their childhood stuff regretted it.

Grant.........awesome ****. We collect so many of the same things (Except lactating ewoks). I have all the funmeal boxes from Burger Chef and one of Vader displays similar to yours.

Oh and Paul......................you gave me wood. :D

Cheers guys.

Nice pick ups as well. Beautiful MOCS Lee

Paul- im intrested to see where you go with this. Ive seen a few guys join here this year that have said simular things that are now buying AFA MOC's :)

Knew you'd dig the display Todd. I havent started on the Burger Chef SW Collectables yet. Here we go :)

That's a great CH collection Paul and great to see that you've still got loads of the original cards 8)

I Love that Imperial dig flycasual and the Yoda to Lee, great condition those 8)

Joe

My dad used to go to Brussels a lot so he may well have got that Leia for me, when i was trying to complete all the figures as an older child. I imagine i wasnt that bothered by Leia as a really young kid, hence why i got this in return of jedi era. It has a foreign price sticker on the front, the back says Clipper Benelux, but is a white sticker over a palitoy card.

Maullster

I plan on completing my loose collection and displaying them at home.

For me it is much more about my childhood memories and Star Wars than it is about collecting. Plus I don't have the cash for mint on card stuff, so unless I win the lotto it will be about trying to complete this collection.

Thanks to everyone for all the positives
