Iain thats an incredible haul there mate I love that Skiff- they are the nuts for sure.
The luke stormtrooper is a beauty, I understand he is one of the toughest L17 to find carded? Loving the miscard too- same combo as mine
Glad they reached you safe and sound mate.
Yes, the Luke Stormie does seem to be one of the harder MOCs to find - this one is in great shape and the Luke himself is brilliant white - he and the R5-D4 were the only two figures that I didn't have on at least one card
The skiff has always been one of my favourites - it is so iconic in the film and that, together with the shuttle were things I would have loved as a kid - just the buggers never really arrived over here
My collection room is on hold for now but am looking to order a lot of acrylic cases (300 or so!) so hopefully within the next six months I can put a decent display together - I am up to 208 of the 294 cards with a couple more on the way
So many great buys all around! 2012 is looking to be a great year!
I added a red ESB version of the Force Lightsaber to my collection recently. The top label had some problem, but on the auction I actually thought half was actually missing, so I'm happy with it. The blade was also in better condition than I was expecting. Not bad for $16 shipped BIN.
Glad to see you guys are not letting the side down in my slackness, some great buys as always, Tim you are a none stope loose monster
Ryan - great to see he is with you, hope you are liking it & good to see its found its way home, also great to see so many baggies cropping up on the thread.
Shawn - great buy buddy, sure you will have that box filled b4 you know it, can we all come round for a sabre duel when the box is filled
The Jedi ones are more common, but there's never a ton of them for sale on ebay. I think most are afraid of the shipping size of them. I have two main ones on my list which I'd like to add. They are a yellow esb version and then either a yellow or red "transition saber" which has a jedi sticker over the ESB logo. The version with the hanger packaging is the most expensive and requires some patience to find. From what I can tell it was only offered in 1984, so it was probably only available for a year or so before the Droids sabers took over.
Iain... did you get that ROTJ Tie Fighter Pilot 65C off RS by any chance??! That is a beaut! If you ever find the urge to sell/trade it give us a nod
