Wow nice proof Steve, are you still building on the Han run? I thought I saw you sell up some of
it on RS?

Nice MOCS ODB + Ham!

Long story Joe. I took ill in 2008 with a health problem that took the typically crap NHS till late 2009 to diagnose through refusing me scans/treatment etc. Got abit disillusioned with collecting and pretty much fully sold up over 2008/2009.

Bagged 2 more new items anyway. Matching Cromalin and Proof Card (both AFA-85's) for the ROTJ 1st photo of Han. Pretty tough -the Cromalins unique and i only know of four 65A proofs. Cromalin arrived this morning so again, lame photos, but was excited...

I could do with Joe taking my photos after seeing those 8D8 cromalin and proof photos on Rebelscum. I end up with washed out shots in if use natural light and camera glare if i use flash. I end up taking about 100 shots and hoping for the best!!!

Sorry to hear about your health issues Steve I hope you are on the mend now?

That matching proof and cromalin double act are awesome! Wow!

I confess I am also a very poor photographer, in fact when I was working on the cromalin + proof deals in 2009 they both came from US collectors so I had them sent to Shawn K before they
came to me and Shawn is an awesome photographer - so bit of a cheat but yeah those aren't my shots (I tend to have the same issues as you!)

All I know is that if you want the best shots you need a good camera, a tripod or a damn steady hand and a light tent with good lighting! Somehow I don't think I will be able to persuade my wife that we need a light tent just so I can take pictures of my toys

Oh wow, where did you find that grail??

I love it, I think there's only five known!

Hi Joe

Right place at the right time I guess?

Managed to combine him with some other tri logo's at a price buyer & seller were both happy with (a bit like the Tri Logo Jawa cardback valuation thread).

Not really sure where you are going with that last part of your post but congrats all the same! It's a cool Trilogo oddity and it's nice to see another one out there :)

Ah, cheers mate, much appreciated. I'll sit and have a read of those two threads.

Np Steve, once again huge congrats on that beautiful cromalin!

Hi guys here are some of my latest acquisitions, all within my budget (which isn't very much). :D

The Speeder Bike is still sealed.

Really nice stuff there mate. The Yoda is supurb. My favourite moc. And the trilogo B-wing Pilot looks really nice too. Not as easy to find as it once was largely due to Ugrading i suspect.
Keep it up. :D

Thanks Pete.

Yoda is one of my favorite moc's as well, I also really like the IG-88 moc (this will be my next purchase). 8)

Scottie, congrats on the Blue Saber Tri. He looks great!

Steve, that's amazing that you picked up the Cromalin and Proof in one go. I don't think I've ever seen a photo I'd consider lame with pieces like that in them. :)

Really great haul there mrbazer1. It looks like Christmas came early to your home.

Nice additons guys!

Good to see you back and collecting again Steve! 8)

Yeah I'm doing abit of Escorting on the side, weasel. Smashing through middle-aged house-wives for £200 an hour. Its £250 if they've been through the Menopause.

Anyway, this week, one old lady gave me this as a token of her devotion to my prowess...

ROTJ 2nd photo Han Cromalin, offerless, and with marked changes made at Kenner.

I tried my best to take a close-up of the text on the COA provided by Tom Neiheisel as I thought it might be interesting to anyone new to preproduction, or to collecting. Most (like my other two ROTJ cromalins) seem to have lost their COA's along the way. AFA in their widsom binned the one that was sent with that grade piece I showed earlier in this thread  .

Cheers, Steve :D

That's outrageous! You should kick up a fuss about that. I'd be demanding free grading for a year or you'll post your story about their 'care' all over the well known forums.

Cracking cromalin Steve, not sure I agree with your "smashing grannies" way of making money but hey! If you can afford items like that- go for it!
