Latest Acquisitions

Burnsy: That's the joy of collecting Palitoys, nothing around for ages and then several show up together.
Nice quality MOC's by the way, congrats.

I thought I'd kickstart this thread by limelighting my newest. A mint unused MIB tri-logo Ewok Village. This actual item is featured on Thorsten's holy grails blog and I consider it one of the finest pieces of my collection. Very happy with it to say the least!

Heres a few of my latest buys, its been a while since I last confessed:
The Leia is a partially sealed example. The figure is really odd, it has a very strange paint app on the face. The others are all sealed. The luke hoth baggie is as personal favourite. Really keen to get some more of the little critters!!!
If anybody on here hasnt got the Kellerman book, I must say it is an epic book. I have found several items in my collection that I thought were common, actually are unconfirmed items!!! Like a 65 back ROTJ Imperial Stormtrooper (Hoth)

Emiel, that Ewok vinnagle is awesome. Did it take you a long time to track it down?

Ed- Loads of great stuff there mate. Really need to get me one of them Kellerman books. I actually emailed the site asking where i could buy one but i was ignored.
Love the Luke baggie as well.

Pete, if you get the chance pick up a copy. My Mrs got mine off ebay, expensive but it really is fantastic. Its a shame the guy didnt do too well out of the deal, I think the scalpers took the cash out of his pocket. There is a second edition coming, when i last looked it was priced up to be about £60-80 including shipping to the uk. I will definately be ordering one.

Woah Ed. That Leia on a ROTJ is a right find! I've only ever seen one in about 10 years and that was priced at £500 so nice one!

That Kellerman book is the bollocks

Really? I knew it was rare but not that rare. Theres some wierd thing going on with the front of it- it looks like the ROTJ logo is a sticker. I will post some more pictures in the next few mins. It was a bargain- only cost me £15- the price of a loose Leia so even if it is a fake ive not lost too much.

Emiel, that is amazing mate.
Congrats on a superb new addition to the collection mate.

Great new purchases Ed, always better when the missus gets you something

It look slike a transition canadian card. They attached ROTJ stikers over the top of ESB logo cards. Sealed they go for a loit of money but i think you done very well all the same. You should try and post some better pics and get some more views on the thing. ps. Don't peel the sticker off!!

ROTJ leia's are rarer than Blue snags and 12backs.:)

It certainly is odd. The back is a 48, but I reckon it had a sticker over the back of it- you can see a line that runs on the piss along the bottom under the barcode. Also there are a couple of tears in the top corner where somthing has been removed. Also the bubble is very odd- its rounded. Im wondering if this is actually a toy fair piece? Or am I getting too excited?

If anyone is interested in seeing it in the flesh/plastic, I will bring it to the NEC, and you can see the wierdness for yourselves. Let me know and I will put it in an Acrylic case 8)

Looking forward to seeing it, Dave T and Lee B will be there and they will be interested to see it aswell.

Good pick up mate.
