Picked this bad boy up today...... My 2nd Vintage carded Figure, Does that make it a real collection now...... :D Swapped it with a toy collector, I gladly parted with a couple of old 80's toys I had for it. What I like is the fact that it has both the 'Revenge of the Jedi' Akbar sticker and the new updated shop sticker that was supposed to go over it advertising the 'Return of the Jedi'.........Love the card back

Clearly they were just to lazy to put one over the other...............

1982, 48 Back, Empire Strikes Back, At-At Commander

Yeah Thanks mate, Delighted with it, First ESB Card. The other sticker is the one that is advertising the offer for a figure from the upcoming 'Return of the Jedi' movie. It's as if it should have been put over the Akbar sticker once the mistake was realised??, Its in English and French, I think... :? Nice quirk i thought to have both names of the 3rd Film on the card stickers, hadn't seen it before

Wow that's a great score!!!

I think it's a bi lingual Canadian sticker- normally placed over the revenge offer.

That is one cool moc. 8)

Just spotted the lack of the second line of text in the top right corner...

Even so thats a great score 8)

So no extra 0 so....? Just wondering, delighted to have added this to my new collection either way. By the way what were Transitional cards, Thanks

Translational cards are empire figures with an applied return of the Jedi logo sticker placed over the top.
They are very tough to find and sell for a fortune.

It looks like you have a Kenner USA card with a candian sticker on it.

For £30 you ain't going to loose out buddy. I would try taking a clearer picture and asking on rs as there are plenty of candian guys who are super knowledgeable on such items.

Nice one Jeff! Rather strange it looks like a US Kenner 48 back with a Canadian Return of the Jedi sticker on it, I am not the best person to ask if that's normal or not so I am not sure what to say but it does seem interesting.

I think the Canadian ESB cards only went to a 47 back as well? Strange!

US overstock sent to Canada? Or sticker switcharoo?? :D

Wow Jeff. Looks like you have decided on a focus!

Yeah, what's funny is that I had ordered this guy a while before I got the at at commander. I only found out that the at at was a 48 back when I met the guy....it must be fate...
