Great additions guys!

Lee, love that 30bk! And ofcause the proof.
The Bi-Logo Interceptor is very nice too, Emiel. Always loved that ship, never had 1 as a kid, often whished for one.

Steve, that sillicone mould is a Top Toys mould, right? It's awesome, congrats!
Should fit your Top Toys HC perfect! You need to pull off his limbs first, :)

Would you have all the Top Toys Chewie prototype stuff that survived secured now? Did the steel torso mould surface?

Steve, what is the difference between your two moulds? Was the silicon mould used to make the steel mould?

Spoons, the silicone mold is made direct from the wax or clay sculpt. This is then used to cast the hardcopy, which in turn is used to produce the steel molds. The steel molds are then used to produce the first shots and then eventually the production figures.

And yes martijn, it is the TT silicone mold.

This arrived in the post today.

A Palitoy 30 Back Ben Kenobi

Battered card, bubble only sealed down one side, and Ben has some of the worst discolouration to his arms and legs I've ever seen to a figure.

However I've been speakin to Gary who reckons this is only the 4th MOC example of this figure he's ever seen.

To me it's a great find although to most it will just look like a beater MOC.

Looks good to me lee. Loving the old palitoy logo more and more these days. The damage and the limb colour adds a bit of character to it all. With really rare items I thinks sometimes you cant be too fussy.

Thanks for the share ! Well done.

Lee: The 30back Ben is a great find. I wonder how many of the Star Wars characters have shown up on a Palitoy 30 back card ?
I did see a Palitoy 30 back C3PO at a collectors fair back in 1999, i think it was for sale for about £165. I really wish i had bought it. Just didnt realise how rare these MOC were back then.

that's a great buy Lee - I love the SW characters on ESB cards, whatever the condition.

and Steve, thanks for the clarification on the moulds :)

just received my first new purchase in a while - it's not exactly mint

I've only ever seen one carded version of this and surprise surprise Gary owns it  It makes for a filler in the meantime, and it might just be the unmintest thing to ever be featured here :D

Enjoy :?

LOL that's awesome spoons :)
Right now, I would settle for a Dengar example that looked just the same :D

thank you Josh - it's good to know that someone on here appreciates a bit of torn card :D

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Dengar, and if costs the same as the Han it will be my treat

I can feel the love now :D

I'm sure Gary would swap, once a collection is complete the magic must go a bit..

I think it's pretty cool too Andy.

Is it really that rare?

Gary's was the first he'd seen carded, and was a relative bargain at Brian's Toys, it sold on AFA grade rather than as a one off Palitoy

hey all, not been on for a while - recently got a motherload of past purchases sent from th uk and us.

Some nice adds to my vehicle collection! Updated collection pics should come in the next week/s.

And it was back in the days when the exchange rate was good. Think I spent over $5000 when he got that haul in!

It is the only carded one I have seen but would be surprised if it was the only one in existence. I know there's a partial reseal around too.

Great New additions Gary. Love the IG 88 looks mint.
I really love the Palitoy 30 back b, with the large logo.
Question: Was this the same one that was sold a Vectis auctions a few years ago?
There cant be that many in that nice condition.

H, yeah been on SWF for a good while, thanks for the Ben it's a treasured piece in my Pali collection.

To answer Darren's Q. yes it was the one sold in the vectis auction.

Gary seriously cool additions my friend.

But what has happened to the FX-7??????

my pleasure, just had a butch at your most impressive collection and noticed u already had a Ben Palitoy... but then noticed the size of the logo  Nice collection dude, very nice 8)

Will be putting mine up (as small as it is) in about a month when I get 2 figures back from neing graded.

Should be interesting as sent a plaitoy biker scout in absolutely mint condition but maybe too mint if u know what I mean so we'll see if that one gets graded or grated lol!
