The Palitoy is a nice peice but as far as i am concerned it is a nice cardback. The figure can easily be removed.
Joe - there are quite a few palitoy variations and i know a mint 12 back chewie goes for a lot. I was not looking to start on the Palitoys just yet and i think i will still wait to pursue them any further.
Proofs and prototypes are going to be my next major step. I have my fourth proof on its way to me and the first prototype figure.

Burnsy - the proto is coming from an RS member in the USA. It is a first shot chewie with an original first shot weapon. It is hand painted and in great condition.
Once i have this (and my funds are a bit healthier) i want to try and track down an engineering pilot and a hardcopy. I know there is also a wax sculpt out there but i think this is serioulsy locked down in a collection.

I dont think i will bebuying anything for a while. Although i have just tracked down another proto chewie. Some minor discussions with the owner and hopefully i can secure it with payment over the next few months.

Thanks guys, certainly worth taking the day off work & driving 10 hours for i reckon.
Had to pack it all up quickly & get home, & with the wife's sickness i haven't had time to go thru it yet. It's gonna be better than xmas when i do!!
