You seem to change your focus quite regularly Grant although I don't necessarily think that it's a bad thing!

I think you made a smart move away from POTF even though the pieces you had were awesome, you as we all know are a maniac for detail, I don't think you could have resisted going mental watch that Anakin yellow in front of you!

I had to get away with from the POTF cards, some day they will only break your heart by turning yellow.
On a different note I was looking at the AFA pop reports the other day and its amazing how many clear SW card examples there are compared with yellow examples for instance nearly 400 graded examples of C3PO but only like 7 yellow examples. The 12 back seem to really stand the test of times unlike their Jedi and POTF counterparts. :roll:

PS A change of focus can breath some fresh air into some stale collecting moments that sometimes occurs when sticking with the same focus.

Hello,

I just picked this up yesterday. Its not very exciting but its an original vintage poster unfolded only rolled C9-C10 condition poster.
I think its called the Style A SW poster but i could be wrong. Its an area of collecting I am quite liking at the moment. I really love the vintage images they used.
I have added a photo of the Birthday poster aswell as its my favourite original vintage poster it is in the same condition as the Style A i just picked up.

I just bought two more baggies for my multipacks so the 3 pack is now complete and I only need 3 more for the 7 pack ! baggie fever has hit!

I want to say thats enough but if more come my way, im game 8)
Theres the white clipper wrap sticker version yet to get, havent seen or heard of one but
im sure theres got to be some out there, just not this month please :lol:

I have managed to get to the post office this morning and picked up the 2 new acquisitions that i have been waiting for since before my holiday.

I will get another update doen tonight. They are currently sat in the boot of my car and i am really excited about getting home to open them.

I have had an email back from another contact i have and he also beleives it to be genuine. It is in great condition and as you can see almost flawless and perfectly straight.

A few more items are being negotiated at the moment. God my bank manager is going to be pissed!!

The brown tape is just heavily browned clear tape. It looks to be originally sealed. I have checked it over thoroughly and the baggie looks legit and the R2 sticker also looks to be original. I guess the tape just browned very badly.

They really are in good nick. The chewie is the same - cannot see any flaws on it.

Overall i am pleased with this item especially with what i paid for it.
