I for one never understood the point of having a subgrade specifically for a figure thats never been stripped from the card - surely most would be tip-top.

Yup, graded in 2002 according to toygrader!!

Mostly VAT (Ã'£45), then the import charge and parelforce fee!

Personally i think they go over the top with charges!

Got another lovely letter from Parcelforce today tellking me I owe them more money! Do they actually do ANYTHING to justify their "fee" for paying the customs charge? Could the postman not just collect it when he delivers it to me?

Really i dont think we should be charged any more ontop of the shipping fees, its not like were importing very expensive motorbikes or cars is it!

the thing is they have to handle it any way if it is priced at $30 or $300 so why charge just because something is dearer. i understand the vat but why an additional delivery charge :evil:

What bugs me is you can't claim the VAT back if you sell the figure back to someone outside the UK. So the Gov takes it from you but when you sell they don't let you claim it back!

Im sure there is some reason/logic (Inzaman seems to know about these things, Inzi, any ideas?) but it really ****s me off! :twisted:
As if we don't pay enough bloody taxes to the Gov for them to ****ing piss away. I work with Social Services nearly everyday and I have yet to met a single Social worker who actually does even half a days work. It really is jobs for the sake of jobs, and forms for the sake of forms. The entire public sector would work just as well with 1/3 of the staff, the only difference is they would actually have to do some work.

Heres my latest captures:

A 47 back Rebel Commander & a 48 back Tusken Raider. I bought these to continue my ROTJ carded focus.

I bought a ROTJ Rebel Commander but the seller sent me a ESB one instead - probably double the value! Trouble is I still need a ROTJ Rebel Commander for my focus!

No custom charges here - I always ask to under value and as yet have had no disaster story

finally got my hands on a tri logo tie pilot after selling mine for peanuts about 5 years ago

You would need to be VAT registered to enable you to claim it back when paid. If however you sold it on again in the UK you would again have to add VAT to it, so someone somewhere would end up paying.
