Oh man! I sold Jason that DSD 77 back (with coin offer on back) to Jason years ago on RS! The figure was so mint ans shiny! Didn't know he sold off. Glad it all went to a good home! Congrats, Iain!

Thanks Bruce - yes he broke that collection up earlier in the year - was amazing and hopefully I have managed to save the bulk of it - funny how these cards go round isn't it - will be with more for a long time to come though :D

The final piece arrived for my 96.. have to give a huge thanks to Iain for taking delivery (seller wanted a fortune) and kindly posted it to me.
Will stick a few photos of the group later tonight.

Something a bit different I just added: LucasFilm reference photos for the Rancor Monster and Jabba's Palace characters (incl. Boba Fett and Squid head). Initially I wanted to buy only one of the Rancor photos but I thought it would be better to not separate them and to keep the couple together :).

Those were printed in multiple examples by LFL and sent to the various licensees, including Kenner, to help produce the merchandising items.

The photos were scratched to prevent the creation of repro photos for the collector market.

I've also added a picture of the back of one of the photos to show that these were stamped by LFL.

I take this opportunity to link to an awesome resource from The Archives about toy design patents and trademarks: http://theswca.com/images-patents.html. Reference photos were actually used by Kenner to do the toy drawings filed with the trademark applications, as you can see with the Gam Guard drawing which was obviously designed after the LFL reference photo (which I'm lucky enough to own too :) ) and that I posted on this thread: http://forum.rebelscum.com/showthread.php?t=1126985

DSD is one of my favourite characters so that lot is lovely to see

Mark, seriously love the Han on ESB cards.
Matthew, I'm glad you kept the two Rancor pics together and I kind of like the scratches, don't know why though :?
Loving the Palace pic, i actually freeze framed ROTJ on sky the other day and caught Dengar in there as plain as day 8)

Some more great new purchases. Really love the DSD items you got Iain, Jason was a really nice guy and I'm sure he's happy that his focus went to some great people!

Nice LFL reference photos Matthieu!

Very nice Tri R2, Scarfaceone 8)

Awesome jacket Grant!

Some very nice pick ups there Rob 8)

Been quite busy lately with my ESB focus.

First up, got hold of a decent IG88. Not mint by any stretch, but was a bargain. The WBG was similar- not my fav figure, so didn't want to spend too much. Got the NIkto as part of my childhood focus. Again, didn't want to spend too much on this- has a couple of issues, but pretty happy with it for the price.

Very happy with the 2-1B, C3PO, Hoth Rebel and Stormtrooper. All in very good nick and all very well priced.

Cazza I would trade my minty Palitoy Trilogo Nikto for your example if it happens to be a Meccano trilogo ;). I can't tell as I don't see the punch shape very well (could be German Parker) but the bubble looks like Meccano :)

Great buys, guys. Cazza, you've had a busy time and what an amazing collection of MOCs. The 3PO and Stomrtrooper are outstanding cardbacks.

Grant, nice jacket, dude. How are you displaying this stuff? Have you got a creepy assortment of mannequins around the house or have you finally found a use for your vintage blow-up doll collection? :D
